Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. They just quietly refill your glass before you even notice it's getting low. That kind of attention is what keeps me coming back.

The pizza here is pretty good, a solid choice. It's a decent spot, just a few minutes from the station which is handy. The menu has a fair few options, though the service was a little slow on a busy Friday.

Really helpful staff when we asked about the beers - they gave us tasters to help decide. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

Nice spot to sit outside and watch the world go by. Had a pint here on a sunny afternoon, very chilled. The outdoor area is lovely, just what you want for that.

Been coming here for years, and the vibe's always spot on. Love the canal-themed bits and bobs, feels like a proper escape after a long day. Just a cosy spot to sit back with a pint.

The porridge here is a good breakfast. It's creamy, not too sweet, and the portion is decent for the price. The toast was just okay, a bit plain. But for a quick, simple bowl of porridge in Skipton, it does the job.

Good for a quick bite after exploring Settle. The takeaway counter is efficient, and the small restaurant area is fine for a sit-down meal. Parking across the road is a plus. Located near the town centre, which is convenient.

Had a decent curry here with friends. The classics are all on the menu, and the portion sizes were fine. Service was pretty good, though it got a bit busy towards the end.

Popped into The Black Horse for a late lunch. The steak and ale pie was spot on, proper hearty portion. Sat out on the terrace in the sun, really hit the spot. Staff were dead friendly too.

The breakfast deal with a drink is a steal. Had the jacket potato for lunch too, it was really nice. The place itself is just so cosy, with all the wooden tables and big windows. Could sit there for ages.

Nice spot on the green. Sat outside watching a bit of cricket. Owners were really welcoming. That was the best part.

Been coming here for years. The naan is consistently spot on, and that’s what keeps me coming back.

Nice village pub, good for a business lunch. The steak pie was solid, proper comfort food. Fish and chips were decent too, well-cooked. Service was quick and efficient, which I appreciate. A bit pricey for a pub meal, but the location is convenient.

The staff were so nice with our little ones. They brought out crayons and even these cute little forks for them. Made it way less stressful for us!

A decent little bakery with a nice pastry selection. I tried the pistachio and the cherry almond croissants - both were pretty good. The coffee was fine. It can get a bit crowded on weekend mornings, though.

Love the quirky old building, feels like a cosy hideaway. Had the roast beef and pork dinners, portions were just right. Dessert was a bit smaller than the menu made it seem, but still tasty. A nice spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

Stopped by for a snack and they had challah bread. Haven't seen that anywhere else in York. It was really good, fresh and soft. Just what I needed with a coffee.

The duck chow mein was so fresh, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.

Been coming here for years. The curries are always spot on, not too heavy, and the naan is fresh. It’s my go-to for a reliable meal.

Popped in for lunch. The baked potato with prawns was spot on, really hit the spot. Nice selection of teas too. Place has a good, friendly buzz.

Quick service even with a queue for takeaway! Food is cooked fresh to order, which I really appreciate. The staff stayed polite and our dine-in meal arrived promptly. A solid spot for a no-fuss lunch.

Been here a few times, even when it's really busy. Food still comes out quick, which is a plus. Had the steak last night, cooked just right. Good spot for a group meal.

Standard McDonald's, but the portion size is decent for the price. Quick bite sorted.

Had the breakfast ciabatta and a flat white. The coffee was good, but the real star was their selection of craft beers and natural wines. Perfect with the food. A solid little spot for a relaxed bite.

Great quick lunch spot. Owner was nice and gave me a smaller pasta portion so I could save room for dinner. Perfect for a fast bite.

The lunch deal is a steal - two of us ate for under £20. Portions are huge, honestly couldn't finish mine. Good, honest food for the price.
