The pork pie was so good, really savoury. The roasted beef sandwich on brown bread with horseradish was just right. Staff were lovely even when it got really busy.

Stopped in for an Earl Grey while wandering around Malton. They actually use loose tea leaves here, not a bag. Proper cuppa. Nice spot if you’ve got a dog with you.

A nice little Italian place in Malton. The vibe is pretty good, quite family-friendly. We had the linguine and the ravioli - both were decent, good portions and flavour. A solid choice for a casual meal.

The chicken curry was spot on, and that giant Yorkshire pudding with steak was a proper treat. Portions are huge, so come hungry!

Love that they’re so dog-friendly here! The sharing platter was spot on, especially the warm bread. Coffee’s good, and you can tell they use local stuff. A nice find for a relaxed weekend bite.

Popped in for lunch and got the Whitby scampi. It was so fresh, the batter was light and crispy, and the chips were spot on. Really hit the spot on a drizzly day. The place itself is lovely and clean, but it was the scampi that made it for me.

Cosy spot, dog-friendly which is nice. The food's always fresh and comes out quick. But that spiral staircase down to the lower seating? A bit steep for my liking, had to be careful going down. Good for a casual bite though.

Love the cosy booths here, gives you a bit of privacy. The decor is spotless and feels very traditional. Staff are professional, but the service felt a little slow on a weekday afternoon. Still, a nice spot for a quiet coffee.

The bottomless brunch is a solid deal. Chris kept the mimosas flowing, which was the real highlight for me. He was really on top of it. The food was fine, but honestly, the steady pour made the whole afternoon.

Big group for a birthday. The food platter was the star – cheeseburgers were juicy, halloumi fries perfectly salty. Reese, our host, kept the energy up and had us laughing all night. Solid spot for a crowd.

Love that they let me bring my dog inside! Had a quick drink and a snack with my pup at my feet. It's just so nice not to have to leave her outside. Made catching up with a friend way easier.

As a vegan, I was really impressed with the options here. The mushroom risotto was creamy and flavourful, and they were happy to make a few dishes vegan for us. The staff were lovely and even brought water for our dog. A solid find.

Stopped by this American diner in Whitby. The burger was huge and really hit the spot. Good, simple food. Staff were friendly and quick.

Came down from Leeds and tried the jal jhal chicken. It was proper spicy, but in a good way. Really enjoyed it. Prices are decent compared to what I'm used to.

Tray meal's a great deal. We get it every week now. Good portions, decent variety. Nothing fancy but hits the spot.

The lamb curry was the best part. Really flavourful but not too spicy, just how I like it. Had it with some rice and it was a solid, filling meal.

Popped in with a couple mates after work. The fish and chips were spot on, and the burger was huge! Got two mains, a pint, and service for under £25 each. Perfect for a casual catch-up without breaking the bank.

Sat outside, the view of the village was lovely. The cod in the fish and chips was enormous, and the chips were perfectly crispy. My wife's pulled pork nachos were tasty too. Prices felt reasonable for what we got.

Came for the fish but honestly, the chips stole the show. They're chunky, perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Just like my gran used to make. That's the real deal.

Loved stumbling upon this local pub during our stay. The live band was a total surprise - no cover charge, just a great vibe on a Tuesday night. We grabbed a couple pints and stayed for the whole set.

Solid cask ales, always in good nick. Decent selection on tap. Staff are sound, gave me a quick tip on the local area. Perfect for a swift pint.

Stumbled upon this place in York. Proper local pub with a decent beer garden at the rear. Good spot for a quiet pint after work. Service was prompt.
