The Jhol Momos were fantastic, and the broth paired really well with a crisp lager. The homemade lemonade was a nice, not-too-sweet touch.

Popped in for a slice of carrot cake and ended up trying the black forest gateau too. The cake selection is really something! So many choices, it was hard to pick just one. A lovely little spot for a sweet treat.

The free WiFi's decent, but honestly, I'm here for the food. Their burger patty is thick and properly juicy, cooked just right. The bun holds up well, doesn't get soggy. That's what keeps me coming back.

Nice spot to cool off. Their seasonal drinks are always something new. Got a lavender lemonade this time, a bit sweet for me but refreshing. AC was a lifesaver.

The scones were fresh and the clotted cream was lovely. A nice, quiet spot for a classic afternoon tea.

They were so welcoming to our dog, even gave him a treat. Really helpful with the pram too, made getting around easy. A nice spot if you're out with the family pet.

Popped in for a quick lunch and the pasty was spot on. Really hit the spot. They had a decent selection of local ales too, which paired nicely with the rich filling. A solid choice for a bite.

Always a solid choice for a quick coffee. The flat white is consistently smooth, just how I like it. Their ham and cheese toastie hits the spot every time - simple and reliable.

Booked a table and it was a good idea, the place was packed. Staff were really on it even with the rush, we didn't feel forgotten. Just a comfortable, straightforward dinner.

The pizza was decent for the price. A bit sloppy, but they give you a free pot of garlic sauce. That sauce is the real deal, really makes it.

Matt and Lottie are super quick. Paid for my latte and it was already being made. For the price, you get your coffee fast when you need it. No waiting around, which is exactly what I wanted.

Lovely spot to sit outside under the big tree. The shade was just right on a warm afternoon, made it feel really relaxed. Staff were friendly too.

A pretty decent spot for a city centre break. The vibe is chilled, which was nice after a busy morning. Had a simple coffee and a pastry - both were fine. It's not a destination in itself, but does the job.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Staff were really friendly, made you feel welcome. Got a hot chocolate - it's the one to get, honestly. Rich and not too sweet. Picked up a box of their handmade chocolates on the way out. Solid spot.

Food arrived hot and fresh right before kick-off. Perfect timing!

A lovely little spot for a quiet coffee. The chairs are surprisingly comfortable, which is a nice touch.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and have a good laugh with you. It's that kind of relaxed, familiar feeling that keeps me coming back. Makes the whole place feel like a proper local spot.

The toasted sourdough sandwiches are a solid choice. They're tasty and the portion is decent for the price. I'd say it's pretty good value for what you get.

Stopped by for lunch, got the chicken tagine and a gyros. The tagine portion was huge, honestly could have shared it. Gyros was decent size too. Ended up taking half the tagine home, plus a fruit crumble for later. Felt like I got two meals for the price of one.

Took the short walk from town centre. Scampi and fishcakes were a nice change from the usual. Fishcakes had a good texture, not too dense. Decent portion for the price.

Stumbled upon this family-run spot. Seeing them eating their own food was a good sign. The meal was fresh and came out fast.

Popped in for a late breakfast. The scrambled eggs with salmon on sourdough really stood out – the eggs were so soft and the salmon tasted incredibly fresh. That's exactly what I look for. The coffee was good too. There was a bit of a wait, but I didn't mind.

Orla was so attentive despite the Black Friday rush. My negroni was just right, not too sweet. The whole vibe felt calm even with the crowd.

The lamb kebabs are pretty good, especially with the chilli sauce. A solid choice for a late bite. It's a bit loud inside, but fine for a quick meal.

The food is cooked fresh when you order, which is nice. I had a pudding and the pastry was perfectly crisp. The staff were very friendly and happy to help, whether you're just popping in for a coffee or a proper meal. A comfortable spot.

Loved the courtyard entrance, so inviting. A nice spot for lunch after the castle.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch. The portions were huge - my roast was piled high and the sides were generous too. Couldn't sit in the garden because of the wind, but the view over Richmond looked lovely. Left feeling very full.
