Dog friendly, which is a plus. The atmosphere is classic Yorkshire pub, and locals were welcoming. A solid choice for a quick pint after work.

The Sunday roast is what I come for. Massive portions, the beef was tender and the Yorkshire puddings were clearly homemade. Gravy had a good depth of flavour. It's a solid, no-fuss roast.

Decided to try the hotel restaurant for a quick bite. The two-course set menu was about £25. Portions were decent, not huge, but enough for the price. You get what you pay for here.

The parmo was spot on. Really good portion, crispy on the outside and the cheese was just right. A solid choice if you're in the area.

Been here a few times. The food's always lovely, and the place looks smart. Good for a quiet dinner.

The garlic mushrooms were so good we ended up ordering a second plate to share. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

Food's legit. Took a bit to come out, but you can tell it's made fresh. Flavours are spot on. Good for a quick, proper bite.

Been coming here for years. The mixed vegetarian platter they put together is always spot on, especially the paneer tikka. It's nice to have a place that gets it right every time.

The dressed crab and tuna nicoise were huge portions and tasted really fresh.

A nice little spot in Filey. The jacket potato with beans was a solid choice, and the chips were properly crispy. The whole place just feels really cosy and relaxed, which I liked.

It was pretty busy when we went, but they handled it well. The service was still friendly and efficient. A good spot for a relaxed meal in Guisborough.

The steak was cooked just right, medium rare as requested. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. A solid spot for a reliable dinner.

The Sunday roast is a nice deal. The beef was cooked well, and the portion was very generous. What I really appreciated was how comfortable the chairs were – you can actually relax and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. A pleasant spot for a leisurely lunch.

Lovely room, super friendly bar staff. We had a great time just chilling with friends over some really tasty food. A proper relaxed vibe for a catch-up.

Nice B&B for a quick stop. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. The host was really friendly and gave some good local tips. Good value for the price. Would stay again if passing through.

Been here a couple of times. The food tastes proper homemade. You can tell they use good, local stuff. The garden room is a nice spot to sit. Service is quick and friendly.

Been coming here for years and the fish specials are always solid. The cod and lobster dish is a regular for me.

Popped in for a Friday dinner, it was packed. Staff were genuinely friendly and on the ball. My steak was cooked spot on. The house red they suggested was a solid match for it, just the right weight. A good, straightforward evening.

Very nice bunch of people lovely staff nothing to much trouble fish was spot on we will definitely be back, only don't forget the brown sauce.

Lovely tea room with so much character. The cakes and sandwiches were really tasty. The chairs were surprisingly comfortable for a place like this, which made a nice change. A very pleasant spot for a quiet afternoon.

The steak pie was fantastic, really generous portion. But the homemade lasagne was the highlight for me. You could tell it was fresh, packed with flavour and arrived piping hot. Just what you want from proper pub food.

Had a late breakfast here. The ingredients were top-notch, cooked just right. Coffee was strong and smooth, staff were really friendly. A solid spot for a lazy morning.

Came with a group of 6, and they handled our gluten-free requests without any fuss. The vibe was relaxed, and the staff were really chill about it. Good spot if you need that kind of flexibility.

The owners are so kind, they really went out of their way to help. That personal touch means a lot. I also appreciated the selection of imported Italian beers, a nice detail.

Just popped in for a curry. The lamb in the rogan josh was so tender, honestly just fell apart. Decent prices too. A solid local spot.

The cakes here are lovely! I tried the chocolate fudge slice and it was so rich and moist. The coffee was just right to go with it. Staff were super friendly too, made for a really nice afternoon.

A lovely, old-school spot. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit feel very relaxed. My breakfast was cooked fresh and tasted just right. A nice, unpretentious place to sit and enjoy a meal.
