Been coming here for years, and the onion bhajis are the reason. They’re always just right – crispy outside, soft inside, never greasy. That consistency keeps me coming back.

The team here is just lovely. They took the time to talk us through the menu and even sorted out a little birthday surprise with the dessert, which was a really nice touch. Felt very looked after.

Solid spot for a drink. The real ales are well-kept, which is nice. The staff behind the bar were happy and helpful, just a good vibe all round.

Been here a few times now. The food is always spot on – the lamb shank last night was cooked perfectly, just fell off the bone. Staff are really friendly, remember your name. A solid local.

Been coming here for years, and the Gang Panaeng is my go-to. It's always got that same deep, spicy kick I ask for. Never disappoints.

The cheddar and sweetcorn fritters were spot on. Good tapas selection and a decent IPA to go with it.

Stumbled upon this spot in Harrogate and had a lovely lunch. They were so sweet with our dogs, letting them settle right by our table. The staff were genuinely nice, which made the whole afternoon feel really relaxed.

Great spot for a catch-up! They had a really good selection of drinks, including some proper ales. Perfect for a chilled pint with friends.

The presentation was lovely, and the portions are generous. Flavours were balanced, everything fresh. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely with the lighter dishes.

Love how dog-friendly it is here! The veggie breakfast was really good, and they even warm the mugs for your tea. Perfect spot for a catch-up with a friend.

A decent spot for cyclists, plenty of space to park the bikes. The food arrived quickly and was pretty good. Service was friendly, though the coffee was a bit weak for my taste.

The pizzas here are fantastic. Really thin crust, just the way I like it. The starters were good too, fresh ingredients you can taste. Portions are generous for the price. Solid spot.

It's BYO, so you can bring your own bottle. They give you glasses and a corkscrew, no extra charge. Makes for a nice, relaxed evening out.

Perfect little pit stop during our canal bike ride. The iced coffee was just what we needed to cool down, and the staff were so friendly. Great spot to catch up with friends for a quick break.

The ebi tempura was the best part. Big, juicy prawns with a light, crispy batter. Beef yaki udon portion was massive too, good flavour.

Poached eggs on toast were spot on. You can tell they use good local stuff. Cosy spot, staff were friendly. Just a bit pricey for what it is, but I’d pop in again.

The owner’s a really nice guy. Chatted with us for a bit, made us feel welcome. Food was alright, but it was his vibe that stuck with me.

Service was friendly and efficient even during the lunch rush. The staff made us feel very welcome.

Frank at the bar is a proper craftsman. You can tell he loves what he does. His cocktails are creative and just right, not too sweet or strong. Watching him work is part of the fun.

I was really impressed by the portion sizes. The set menu is a good deal, and the curries came in generous bowls. The side dishes were also quite large, so you definitely won't leave hungry. It felt like good value for the quality of ingredients used.

Came here with a big group for lunch. Staff were super quick and efficient, even with our size. They had balloons and headbands ready for our table, which was a nice touch. Food came out fast too. Good for a quick, fuss-free group meal.

The flat white and latte are top-tier for York. The owner and his family run the place, which gives it a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Coffee is the clear focus here.

The Sunday roast here is a proper treat. The beef was so tender, and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. Honestly, it's become a bit of a weekend ritual for me. A bit of a wait for a table, but that's to be expected.

The garlic aioli was a real highlight, so fresh and creamy. The hot honey dip was a bit of a letdown though, not much heat to it at all. I do appreciate when the flavours are clear and the ingredients feel high-quality.

The portions here are huge! We shared a main and still had leftovers to take home. Really good value for money, left feeling totally full.

Been coming here for years, and the Dolce Picante pizza is the reason. That BBQ tomato base is just right every single time. The crust is spot on too. It’s the one thing I know I can count on.

Came for brunch with my mates. The full English was spot on, and the panini was a nice surprise. It's the kind of place where you can actually hear each other talk, which is rare these days. Service was quick, too. We'll definitely be back.

The window display is a real showstopper. So many colourful, tempting choices, it felt like stepping into a proper old-school sweet shop.

The steak was cooked just right, and the sides were spot on. For what we got, the bill didn't sting at all. Solid meal for the price.

Jonny made my hot chocolate today. It was just the right kind of rich and creamy. The whole vibe in there is so warm and welcoming, it really makes a difference.
