A local tipped me off about this pub. Staff were really friendly. The outdoor area looks like it’ll be great in summer.

First time here, the flatbreads and calamari were spot on. The owner even made some garlic mayo for us on request, really nice touch.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly, makes it a nice place to be.

The fish batter was incredibly crisp, just how I like it. The chips had that proper fried texture too. I really appreciated that they had tartar sauce ready on the table – it felt fresh and convenient. A solid choice for a simple, satisfying meal.

Such a great spot to meet up with friends! They're super dog-friendly in the town centre. The staff were so sweet to my pup, even brought her a little treat. Really nice, relaxed atmosphere for a catch-up.

Good spot for a quick lunch. The chicken curry came out fast, tasted decent. Service was efficient, no fuss. Exactly what I needed on a busy day.

Busy but nice vibe. The lobster ravioli from the specials was really good. Staff were quick and professional, which I appreciated. My only thing was the chairs were a bit hard for a longer dinner.

Been coming here for years. The terrace view is the main draw for me, never gets old. It’s just a really solid spot for a pint by the water.

Service was quick and friendly. The cod was tasty, the tea was a nice touch. Food came out fast, which was good as we were just popping in. 👍

Been coming here for years, the coffee's always spot on. Their pastries change daily, had a fantastic raspberry danish this morning. Love that they've got a proper outdoor bit for the dog.

Been coming here for years. It’s a proper local spot, not flashy. The soup is always spot on, really hearty. Staff are dead friendly. Nice they let you bring the dog in too.

Popped in for lunch in the village. Got the Yorkshire pudding wrap with chicken and onion, plus chips and gravy. It was all homemade, which was nice. The portion was huge though – couldn't finish it all. Good for the price.

Been coming here for years, always grab a bite when I'm shopping. The chicken club is my go-to, never disappoints. Staff are always spot on, happy to talk you through the menu. That app discount is a nice touch too.

Lovely spot for a weekend brunch with mates. The staff were really on it - friendly and efficient. My full English was spot on, especially the black pudding. Good portion sizes too. Felt like we got what we paid for.

The cakes are the real star here. You can tell they're made fresh, the layers are so light and the flavour is spot on. None of that weird fake sweetness you get elsewhere. Perfect for a little catch-up with a friend over coffee.

Been coming here for years. Their fish and chips are a solid choice. The batter stays crisp and the fish is never dry. It's just reliable.

Waited a bit at lunch, but you can tell everything is made to order. The salad greens were so crisp and fresh, you could taste the difference. Worth the extra few minutes for ingredients that feel properly cared for.

Lovely to see a proper disabled loo and an accessible side entrance. The outdoor tables are a little sun trap on a nice day, perfect for a quiet lunch.
