No. 5 of Local Restaurants in Oslo

Good coffee and decent pastries. The hot chocolate with cream hit the spot on a cold day. Seats by the window were comfy enough to stay a while.

The brown cheese is worth trying for sure. Portions are generous, but it's a bit pricey for a regular lunch. Still, I left full and happy.

The Vespa Classic was decent, though the veggie version was just as good. Fine brunch spot in Oslo.

The cookies here are seriously good—got the chocolate chip one and it was still warm. Croissants looked great too but I didn't try them. Coffee's solid, from a local roastery I think. Place gets busy fast, ended up sharing a table with strangers. Kinda cramped but the vibe was chill enough that it didn't bother me.

The staff here were genuinely kind, not just polite in that rehearsed way. I felt comfortable asking for a menu change and they handled it without fuss. That alone made the whole visit feel easy and relaxing. I didn't feel rushed either, which I appreciate. Just a nice, calm place to sit and eat.

The smoothies are solid, but those flatbread sandwiches wore my jaw out a bit.

Solid plant-based spot in Larvik. The watermelon salad with toasted seeds was the highlight. Hummus toast with chili oil hit the spot too. Quick service, no fuss.

Been coming here for years now. The iskender kebab is still as good as the first time I had it. Place gets busy but that's part of the charm.

Coffee’s decent and the staff are friendly. Right inside Oslo City, super handy if you’re near the station. Got a bit noisy while I was there, but fine for a quick stop.

The cakes aren’t what they used to be, but the coffee still hits the spot. Such a pretty location though. Tables weren’t cleared right away, which was a bit annoying. Service felt a little uneven, but I’d still stop by for a cup if I’m in the area.

Stopped by for a mocha on a snowy evening — the window view while sipping was honestly the best part. Cozy spot, though it got a bit crowded later.

Lovely little spot for coffee outside. The gluten-free scone was surprisingly moist, not dry like most places. Definitely coming back for that.

Great spot for a break, though the uphill walk is a bit much. WiFi works well, but service drags when it's busy.

Coffee’s solid and the croissant was properly flaky. Staff actually seemed happy to be there. Breakfast sandwich did the job, nothing fancy but I’d stop by again.

Lovely little café inside an old building. The vegan chocolate cake was seriously good, chai had a nice kick to it. Place has a cozy vibe.

Coffee’s solid here, and the pastries were actually fresh. Paid a bit more than I’d like, but the quality holds up. Been back a few times now.

The owner actually sat down and explained the whole menu to us, even translated everything. Sweet potato lentil soup was really good. Felt super welcome, like hanging out at a friend's place 😊

Stumbled into this place and honestly the affogato was the star. Creamy ice cream with just the right amount of espresso poured over. Pastry selection looked solid too but I didn't get past the waffles. Retro milk bar vibe is cute, not trying too hard. Would go back for another one.

The building’s gorgeous, honestly worth popping in for that alone. Coffee’s just standard Starbucks.

Cozy courtyard, quiet enough to actually get some work done. Coffee was solid, service quick. Good spot for a slow morning break if you're in the area.

Lovely bright spot near Skøyen Church. The open sandwiches were really good, especially the shrimp one. Staff friendly too. Pastries looked tempting but I was too full to try.

Part of the Deli de Luca chain, so you know the drill. Coffee's decent, sandwiches are fine for a quick bite. This one's got seating, which is handy. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Nice spot to duck into when it rains. Got a coffee and a pastry, paid less than I expected for the area. Order at the bar, service was quick.

We popped in for a late dessert and the girl behind the counter was so patient with us while we couldn’t decide 😅 She knew the menu inside out and even let us taste one before picking. Honestly that made the whole visit for me. Place itself is cute too, but the service really stood out.

The chai latte here is my usual—always consistent, which is why I keep coming back. Window seat by the cathedral square is perfect for people-watching.

The upstairs seating gives you a proper view of the fjord and castle. Nice enough spot to stop for a breather while out sightseeing.

Stopped by for a hot chocolate and ended up staying longer than planned. The interior is really cozy, and I liked that they show allergen info for everything—nice touch. Drink was rich, not too sweet. Staff smiled a lot, which always helps. Maybe a bit pricey for the size, but I’d still go back.
