The venison stew was hearty and full of veggies—paired nicely with a glass of red. Solid spot before the museum.

The hot chocolate here is what keeps me coming back—topped with cream and little bits of chocolate, it’s perfect for a slow afternoon. I grabbed a slice of cake too, fresh and pretty on the plate. Prices are fair for Oslo. Just wish they had a bit more seating by the window.

Nice big space with a vintage feel, plenty of seating. Charging stations at the family table came in handy while I was working. Good spot to hang out for a while.

The cinnamon bun was the real deal. Warm, soft, just the right amount of cardamom. Mocha paired well with it. Didn't care much about the decor or the staff, honestly. Outdoor seating exists, but I was too focused on the bun. Solid if you're after a proper Norwegian-style pastry.

The wholegrain bread was the highlight for me. You can tell it’s made fresh, not the usual store-bought stuff. I had a light lunch plate with some of their small items, and the ingredients just felt clean and simple. Place was a mix of locals and tourists, which gave it a nice buzz. Maybe a bit busy at noon, but fine.

Stopped here for lunch after walking around the fortress. Got the chicken sandwich and it was actually fresh, not soggy like most places. Price was okay for Oslo, not cheap but fair. Place was busy but I found a seat fast. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The staff here are the reason I keep coming back. They actually remember what I usually order, which is rare. It's a decent spot to just sit and chat over a coffee without being rushed. Service is the main thing for me, and they've got it down.

Came here on a Saturday night and the backyard was the highlight for me. House music was on point, not too loud to talk over. Pizza surprised me - got the margherita and it had that nice charred crust. Only thing, the bouncer at the door was a bit much. Like, chill, I'm just here for a slice and a beer 😅

Decent little cafe with a Mediterranean feel. Tea list is solid, and the chocolate cake was pretty good. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but fine for a stop.

Stumbled on this place after the museum. Owner was super nice, made us feel welcome right away. Had the Austrian dishes and they tasted proper, like homemade. It’s tucked away but easy to find. Nothing fancy, just good food and a friendly vibe. Would go back if I’m in the area again.

The focaccia sandwich was solid and the price fair. Nice spot by the water, away from the traffic noise.

Came here on a regular Tuesday night, no fuss. Got the fish of the day and it was fresh, cooked right. Portion size is decent for the price, which is rare in Oslo. Service was quick, maybe a bit too quick, felt a little rushed. But honestly, for a casual dinner, it does the job. I'd pop in again if I'm in the area.

Charming little place near the university. The decor is really nicely done, kind of artsy but not trying too hard. Prices are okay for Norway, which is saying something. I tried the chili cappuccino out of curiosity — definitely different, worth it if you like experimenting with coffee. Seats are comfy enough to linger a bit.

Friendly staff, herring sandwich was solid. Kids liked their pasta too. Place feels like they actually care about the food.

The blueberry bun and mint tea were solid. Price is a bit high but the baking quality makes up for it. Plenty of seating inside, easy to grab a quick bite.

The chicken salad and the chicken with cheese were both pretty good. Chicken was cooked just right, greens were fresh. Filter coffee was decent too. Had pancakes for dessert—they came out warm and soft, maybe the best I've had in a while. Place was a bit busy but fine for a casual meal.

Decent coffee spot. Had the hand-brewed light roast, pretty good. Not much of a food menu but that wasn't why I stopped in. Place is small, got a bit crowded around noon. Fine for a quick break.

The guy at the counter was super friendly, but the barista kinda killed the vibe. Handed over my latte without even looking up, felt a bit rushed. Coffee itself was decent though, and the place is cute for hanging with friends. Just wish the service felt a bit warmer. 😕

The lime cake really stood out — light and refreshing without being too sweet. Terrace has lovely park views, though it got pretty busy when I was there. Would've liked a better wine option to go with it, but the coffee worked fine.

The cocktails here are properly creative — mine had this unexpected smoky kick that worked. Pricey, even for Oslo, but the lounge vibe is solid for a pre-dinner drink. 🍸

The carrot cake had that perfect moist crumb, and honestly the banana bread might be the best I've found in town. I ordered a cappuccino alongside, and it held up nicely—good crema, not too bitter. Solid spot for a quiet afternoon coffee break. Just wish they had a few more wine options by the glass, but that's probably asking too much from a bakery.

The brown cheese white hot chocolate was unreal—creamy, a bit salty, like liquid caramel. Staff were nice too. Wish I lived closer to try more of the menu.

Hot chocolate was solid, and they had a vegan option which is handy. Staff polite, service quick enough. Good spot if you're in the area.

Decent coffee spot near the hotel. Good range of snacks, though it gets pretty busy. Ended up going back twice, so that says something.
