The rooftop bar’s gone, but the ground floor lounge is still a solid spot. Cozy, a bit stylish without trying too hard. I tried a cocktail from their literature-inspired menu — clever names, and the one I had was actually good. Would’ve liked a bit more variety in the gin section, but fine for a casual night out.

Great wine list and the host really knows his stuff. First Italian night was packed, good vibe. Zabaglione made right at the table was a nice touch. Solid spot for a chill evening.

Quick bite at lunch. Got the currywurst with extra spice, portion was solid for the price. Menu clearly marks allergens, which I like. Place is tiny but not noisy, parking right outside. Only thing: no cutlery or napkins with takeout. Had to eat with my hands in the car. Still, fast and filling.

The skepasti was really good, and prices felt fair for the area. Staff were friendly, service was quick. Solid stop if you're nearby.

Been coming here for a while now, and the courtyard still gets me every time. Sat outside last week, had a bottle of wine and some snacks, nothing fancy but just right. Service is always friendly, never pushy. Place has kept its vibe over the years, which is why I keep coming back.

Solid spot on the edge of the old town. Schnitzel was well-prepared, service efficient. Fair price for the quality.

Friendly staff, nice and cozy spot. Coffee was solid, though I wished they had a better wine list to pair with the food. Service felt personal without being pushy.

Fresh bread every morning, that smell alone gets me in. Place stays tidy too, service quick without hovering. Solid stop.

The pho here is pretty close to what I've had in Vietnam, honestly. Prices are fair for the portion. Just wish the service was a bit faster, but I'd still come back.

We stopped by on a Sunday evening and it was pretty busy. I had the Hessian cordon bleu with the hand cheese filling – that was something different, really rich. Portion was decent for the price. Service kept it simple, checked on us once, no fuss. Just a heads up, it gets loud when full, but that's part of the charm I guess.

Tarte flambée was solid—crisp edges, creamy topping, exactly what I wanted. Place was busy but service kept up fine. Decent option if you're in Bad Homburg.

Hearty food, old-school vibe. Church bells ringing while you eat—that's something you don't get everywhere. Solid local spot.

Food’s solid, no complaints there. Just keep in mind the 90-minute seating limit and that you gotta book ahead. Still, I keep coming back for the consistency.

The pasta here is solid. Had the tagliatelle with truffle cream, sauce was rich without being heavy. Portion size is honestly big, could barely finish. The guy serving us was friendly enough. Prices fair for what you get. Not the most refined Italian I've had, but it hits the spot when you want something comforting.

The goose dinner was solid—each course had real flavor, especially with a good glass of red to cut through the richness. Service kept things moving nicely. Only wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Sushi was fresh, that's for sure. Place was busy but they still managed to get the order right. Staff left us alone mostly, which I liked. Not the cheapest spot around but the fish quality makes up for it. Solid if you're craving Asian food and don't want to gamble on a random spot.

The pasta was spot on and the staff remembered me from last time. Sat near the window, no rush at all. Just a really comfortable spot for a quiet dinner.

The tapas were good, especially the patatas bravas. Steak came out exactly as asked, medium rare. Portion size is decent for the price, not huge but fair. Service was fast, no waiting around. Place gets loud when it fills up, but that's on you if you come with a big group. I'd go back for the value.

The food was solid and the terrace is really quiet, which I liked. Place is a bit hidden though, took me a moment to find it. Worth the drive from Mainz.

Decent spot right by the river. Mixed pakora and chicken curry were fresh and tasty. Service was polite. Bathrooms could do with a bit of updating, but otherwise fine.

Went with 14 people, took the set menu. Food came out hot, looked really nice on the plate. Service was professional but still friendly, which I appreciated. For a big group, everything ran pretty smoothly. Only thing—it got a bit loud, but that’s kind of expected with that many of us. Solid pick if you’re organizing something bigger.

Cash only caught me off guard, but the Guinness was solid and the pub has that classic, worn-in feel. Just remember to bring euros.

The mixed grill was solid — everything on the plate hit the spot, especially the meats. Just wish the seating area was a bit more comfortable, my back started to feel it halfway through.

Salmon tortelloni was solid, steak with Livornese sauce even better. Fresh ingredients, well cooked. Place was busy but service kept up fine.

We came here on a recommendation and it was a decent choice. The schnitzel was pretty good, crispy and not too greasy. Service was quick and friendly. The room felt like a proper old German place, which I liked. Only downside was it got a bit loud as it filled up. Fine for a casual dinner, though.

Solid breakfast spot in the old town. Pancakes and avocado toast were good, coffee did the job. Place gets busy but the noise level stays fine. Service was quick enough.
