I spent the night in a secluded courtyard. Pushing open the wooden window, moonlight poured in like water. The long journey had subsided, the daytime clamor settling into a weariness in my heart. Just as I was about to draw the curtains, a night breeze slipped in through the window cracks, carrying the coolness of the night dew and the breath of the courtyard's plants, gently offering me a handful of clear light. That light was pure and serene, like the moonlight's twin brother, instantly smoothing the wrinkles of my thoughts. I didn't turn on the light, but looked out the window in this gentle glow. The potted plants in the courtyard no longer appeared cluttered in the night, but each occupied its own space, their lines soft, their postures peaceful. Everything was sparse and open, even… The spiderweb in the corner, outlined by the soft moonlight, transformed into an exquisite silver sculpture. I reached out, letting the moonlight and the wind fall simultaneously into my palm. The cool, delicate touch made me wonder if I had touched the soul of the night. On this long journey, to have such a night shared with the soft moonlight was an immense luxury. The wind carrying the soft light was not only a visual delight but also a spiritual cleansing. Before falling asleep, I surrendered the day's weariness to this tranquility, drifting off peacefully, as if the whole world had become clean and pure. This night's romance will forever carry the warmth of the moonlight, warming my dreams in the future. #NewYearDestinations2026 #travel2026
