The chicken soba was good, mild and comforting. I got the half portion, which was just right. Tried the keihan too—it’s not the traditional Amami style, but dipping it in the soba broth worked nicely. A solid, simple lunch.

Ordered the large beef bowl via the tablet. Convenient. A bit pricey at 740 yen, but the mild flavor was nice—didn't overpower the glass of chilled sake I had with it. 👍

The chicken katsu curry was the main thing. The curry sauce had a good depth, not too sweet, and the pork cutlet was crispy even after sitting for a bit. That’s what I remember.

The kakioko with extra oysters was a solid choice. The portion is generous for the price, and their house sake paired really well with the briny flavor.

The fish set was surprisingly filling, honestly. I ordered ramen extra, which was a bit much. The fish itself was simple but really nice, the kind of thing you just enjoy quietly.

Featured in the Michelin Guide, and you can taste it. The soup, the noodles, the toppings—everything just feels right. Thoughtful. Balanced. A quiet kind of precision.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. The tempura rice bowl was solid, crispy shrimp and all. Plum wine was nice too. Music and lights were chill. A bit on the pricier side for what it is, but not bad.

The yam soba was good, the noodles had a nice texture. But the portion felt a bit small for the price. I left still feeling a little hungry, which was a shame.

Been coming here for years. The ginkgo wood counter is beautiful, and the whole place just feels right. It's that kind of calm, traditional vibe you don't find much anymore. A bit quiet on a Tuesday night, but I actually liked that.

Tried the chef's choice lunch set today. For 1600 yen, you get so much! The salmon in that creamy sauce was the highlight for me, really flavorful. The draft beer was nice and cold, too. Good deal for a filling meal.

Great for a quick bite. The staff is really friendly and they even brought a sharing plate without us asking.

Quick lunch at the food court. Got the usual ramen. Soup was good, noodles had nice flavor. Free egg is a nice touch, makes it more filling. Consistent for a chain. Fast service, got my order in under 5 minutes.

The turnip potage was the standout. The seasoning was gentle, letting the vegetable's natural sweetness come through. The chicken ragu pasta had the same thoughtful touch. It's all about highlighting the ingredients here.

Stopped by for breakfast. The morning set's a good deal here - toast, a drink, and a side. Not bad for a tourist spot.

A nice, unpretentious spot. We had a solid, comforting meal here. The atmosphere has a lot of character, which I liked. The food was pretty good, though the service was a little slow.

I had a wonderful experience celebrating my daughter's birthday here. The staff went above and beyond with their service, even setting up a special birthday table that made the occasion memorable.

Spacious place, even when packed. Upstairs has tatami rooms for groups. Good for a quick lunch, didn't feel rushed. Food came out fast.

Nice little spot. The curry was pretty good, had a decent freshness from the tomato and onion. The decor is cool with all the plants and records. A bit on the pricey side for what you get, but the vibe is solid.

The pizza here really is Neapolitan-style, thin and with that perfect char. What stood out for me was the comfortable seating—the chairs had good back support, which made a long, relaxed dinner possible. A nice spot for a quiet meal.

Came for the old-school vibe and stayed for the chicken kara-age. It was so juicy and full of flavor, exactly what I needed on a chilly evening in Kurashiki. A really solid, comforting meal.

Lines are always long here, but I went just before opening and got seated right away. The place has this really nice, relaxed vibe with lots of natural light. It just feels comfortable to sit and eat, you know?

The freshly ground sesame sauce is the star. It’s nutty and warm, perfect for the tonkatsu. The Sangen pork was tender, but honestly, I just kept dipping.

The vinegar drink at the drink bar was interesting. A bit too sharp for me, but it's different.

The focus on local ingredients really shines through in every dish. The seasonal menu is thoughtfully crafted, and the flavors are simply outstanding.
