The Olive Beef fillet was a highlight. Ordered it rare, and it came out just right—super tender. The local Kotohira soy sauce they served on the side really complemented the meat's flavor. A solid choice.

The place has been around for 150 years and it shows in the cozy, timeless feel of the dining room.

Nice little spot down a back alley. The outside looks so Japanese. Inside is bigger than you'd think, very stylish. Food came out fast, which was nice for a date night.

The tempura set was pretty good. I enjoyed the salt for dipping, it was a nice touch. The hojicha and dessert pudding were included, which made it a decent deal. The tempura itself was light and crispy.

The counter seats were so cozy, warmed by the charcoal fire even with the door open. I loved the grilled quail and tomato pasta. The beef was great, too.

Stumbled upon this place nearby. The set menu they suggested was generous, really good portion for the price.

Been coming here for years. The fresh somen is why. They have an olive version now, but I always stick with the original. That clean, wheaty taste is just right. Never changes.

The stylist really took her time during the consultation. My haircut is super easy to style now, saves me so much time in the morning. For the price, getting that kind of personalized advice felt like a good deal.

The miso soup. Made with homemade miso. Sometimes has small fish in it. Gives a really deep, rich flavor. That's the one thing I remember.

A popular spot, so booking ahead is key if you want a table inside. We walked in and got the terrace, which was nice, but the indoor seating looked much cozier. The service was friendly and made the wait feel shorter.

Reserved ahead and it was a good call, got quite busy. The flavors were pleasant and not overpowering.

The Olive Dream Pork was my choice. The tenderness was spot on. I really appreciated how the sweetness from the glaze balanced the richness. It felt like a well-considered dish, focusing on quality ingredients. A satisfying meal for someone mindful of their food choices.

Been coming here for years. The tablet ordering with multiple languages is what keeps me coming back. Makes it so easy, even when I bring friends who don't speak Japanese. Just tap and go.

I highly recommend this place for its excellent French cuisine at an affordable price, along with a breathtaking view that adds to the dining experience.

The seats were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. A filling meal with drinks for two came to under 5000 yen.
