The terrace view is right on the water, really nice. Had a lunch there. But for the price, the portions felt a bit small.

Managed to snag a tatami room without a reservation! The space is so calm and quiet, really lets you unwind.

The pork miso soup here is really good. It's a free refill, which is nice. The flavor is deep and rich, maybe they use a bit of sake in the broth. The rice is firm and has a nice texture, too.

The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and the beautiful view of Okayama make it worth every yen. It's a perfect spot for special occasions.

The 2700 yen lunch course was a solid choice. They asked about allergies and main preference first. The pace of the dishes was just right, not rushed at all. The main was a grilled fish, skin crispy and the flesh still moist. That's the kind of simple execution I look for.

I had the chef's recommended course, and the lobster dish was a standout! The service was friendly and made the evening even more special.

Took my wife here for our anniversary. The place has a warm, luxurious feel but didn't feel stuffy at all. Just right for a quiet date night. The wine pairing was a nice touch.

Came with friends and we shared the soy milk hotpot. The mentaiko and butter combo was a fun twist. Good for chatting over a simmering pot, though it got a bit pricey splitting it.

The menu here has a lot going on. I tried the horse sashimi for the first time — it was surprisingly tender. A bit of a leap, but glad I did it.

Booked ahead for a Friday night, good thing we did—it's cozy and fills up fast! Perfect for catching up with a couple friends, we could actually hear each other talk. The small space makes it feel more intimate. Just be ready to maybe wait a bit if you're a bigger group.

The pistachio gelato with the espresso poured over it was the best part. That first bite, the warm coffee melting into the cold, nutty cream... just so good. I'd go back just for that.

The chocolate cake isn't on the menu, but our server mentioned it. So glad we listened. It was rich, not too sweet, with a perfect texture. A real find.

Great for early trains, right by Okayama Station. The 24-hour thing is super handy when you're traveling.

Each dish was a delightful surprise, showcasing the chef's creativity and attention to detail. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, making for a memorable dining experience.
