The view over the Großer Plöner See really is something. Food looked great on the plate, tasted fresh too. Place was packed, so we waited a bit for a table. Not ideal, but sitting outside with that water right there made it fine. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

The Tandoori Mix platter came out still sizzling, really well grilled. That was the highlight for me. Service was fine, no complaints. The place has this rustic vibe, nothing fancy but fits the food. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something straightforward. Maybe not a destination place, but I'd go back if I'm nearby.

The fish soup alone is worth coming here for. So much flavor for that price. I got the salmon too, though it came with a bit too much cabbage for my taste. Still, I'd go back just for that soup. Service was nice and the place had a relaxed vibe.

Stopped by for a late lunch — the gyros were solid, tzatziki nice and garlicky. Portions are generous, no doubt. What got me was the house wine on tap, honestly didn’t expect that with a Greek spot. Went well with the lamb. Only catch: cash only, so come prepared. Service was friendly enough, nothing fancy.

The eggs benedict were properly runny, hollandaise had enough tang. Prosecco was included, which made it a solid deal for brunch. Coffee was decent, not great, but drinkable. Food came out hot and well-seasoned. That's really what I care about. Would come back for the eggs alone.

Been coming here for a while now. The fish is always fresh, and that harbour view never gets old. Staff remembers you too, which is nice.

Service was really good when we stopped by. Friendly people, quick, and they kept checking if everything was alright. Made us feel looked after, no complaints there. Maybe a bit too attentive at times, but honestly, that's better than trying to flag someone down. Solid spot if you're after decent service.

The antipasti plate really stood out to me. Fresh ingredients, nicely arranged, and the garlic pesto bread was a good call to go with it. Prices felt fair for what you get. I'd go back just for that plate again. Maybe not the quietest spot, but the food made up for it.

Nice place for coffee and cake. Marzipan cake was really good, Americano did the job. Service got a bit slow when it got busy, but prices are fair for the area.

Stopped by for breakfast on a weekday. Cheesecake was solid, coffee did the job. Staff didn’t hover, which I appreciate. Lakeside location is the main draw—quiet, easy to find a seat. Prices are fair for what you get. Not a destination spot, but fine if you’re in the area.

The schnitzel buffet was solid — crispy breading, fresh salads, and the sauces had something different to offer. Service stayed friendly the whole time.

Decent spot right by the fjord. We sat outside, view over the water was really nice. Had the currywurst and fries, pretty standard but fine. The fish cake sandwich was better though, homemade and quite tasty. Good for a casual lunch if you're in the area. Just a bit busy when we were there.

The new setup with the big windows is nice, especially when they open it up on a sunny day. Carrot cake was solid, pretty big slice for the price. I'd say it's worth grabbing if you're already in the area.

The pike-perch was spot on, and the salad had that fresh, clean bite. Would've loved a better wine pairing suggestion to go with it, though.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up trying the ice cream puff with fresh strawberries. That thing was solid. The portion felt fair for what you pay, not one of those tiny overpriced desserts. Coffee was fine, nothing fancy, but the puff alone makes it worth a stop if you're nearby.

Went for the Sunday brunch last week. The Mediterranean spread was solid—olive oil actually tasted fresh, not the cheap stuff. Owner came by our table and talked about slow food for a bit, that was nice. Place was pretty relaxed, no rush. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I left full.

The grilled octopus was the standout. Cooked properly, tender, not rubbery. The seasoning was spot on. Portion size is decent for the price. The rest of the meal was fine. Slightly slow service, but I wasn't in a rush. I'd come back for that octopus alone.

Solid breakfast spot if you're into quality over quantity. Ingredients tasted fresh, but the portion was kinda small for the price.

The sandwiches were solid and I loved that they label allergens clearly. Coffee was meh, but the pastries saved the visit. 🥪

The tarte flambée was fresh, and that penne Bolognese with arugula in the sauce? Probably the best I've had. Simple touch, but it worked.

The appetizer open bar with meat carved right off the skewer was the highlight for me. Got a bit loud inside, but the food made up for it. Would come back for that alone.

Stopped by for lunch during a work trip. Got the daily special, decent portion for the price. Service was quick, no fuss. Cakes looked good but didn't try one. Fine if you need a solid meal without wasting time. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Stopped by for a quick bite while wandering around Kiel’s center. Sandwich was fresh, coffee did the job. Nothing fancy but totally fine for a casual lunch with a friend. Place was a bit busy around noon, so we grabbed a table outside. Good enough if you’re nearby and hungry 😊

Stayed here for a few nights while exploring the town and the coast. Parking was easy, which is always a win. Room was quiet, slept well. Beach is a short walk away, so location really is the selling point. Nothing fancy, but solid for the price. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Ordered pizza to the hotel since we were too tired to go out. Arrived hot and right on time, which honestly never happens with delivery. Driver was super nice too. Pizza itself was solid, one of the better ones around here. Would grab it again if we're back in the area 🍕
