The view over the Großer Plöner See really is something. Food looked great on the plate, tasted fresh too. Place was packed, so we waited a bit for a table. Not ideal, but sitting outside with that water right there made it fine. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

The Tandoori Mix platter came out still sizzling, really well grilled. That was the highlight for me. Service was fine, no complaints. The place has this rustic vibe, nothing fancy but fits the food. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something straightforward. Maybe not a destination place, but I'd go back if I'm nearby.

The spring rolls were super fresh and the pho broth had real depth. Cozy little spot, though it did get a bit busy around lunchtime.

The pork with toast was tasty, especially the mushrooms. Service was friendly and we didn't wait long.

Cozy place, staff was really on top of things. Had a solid lunch, nothing fancy but done right. Just watch out if you're gluten-free, not many options there.

The fish soup alone is worth coming here for. So much flavor for that price. I got the salmon too, though it came with a bit too much cabbage for my taste. Still, I'd go back just for that soup. Service was nice and the place had a relaxed vibe.

Stopped by for a late lunch — the gyros were solid, tzatziki nice and garlicky. Portions are generous, no doubt. What got me was the house wine on tap, honestly didn’t expect that with a Greek spot. Went well with the lamb. Only catch: cash only, so come prepared. Service was friendly enough, nothing fancy.

The eggs benedict were properly runny, hollandaise had enough tang. Prosecco was included, which made it a solid deal for brunch. Coffee was decent, not great, but drinkable. Food came out hot and well-seasoned. That's really what I care about. Would come back for the eggs alone.

Been coming here for a while now. The fish is always fresh, and that harbour view never gets old. Staff remembers you too, which is nice.

Came for the grilled platter and honestly, that was the right call. Meat was juicy, nicely charred, not overdone. Place itself is pretty basic, but the food does the talking. Would go back if I'm craving that again.

The restaurant offers a beautiful location with a beach atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxing meal. The service is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially for families with pets.

Decent spot right on the harbor promenade. Had the seafood pasta, pretty good and reasonably priced. Service gets a bit slow when it's packed, but the view sort of makes up for it. Fine for a casual meal if you're in the area.

The cakes here are really fresh, and they have a good variety. I grabbed a slice with my coffee in the morning, it was quiet then. Later it gets busy, so I’d say come early if you want a window seat with the town hall view. Prices felt fair for the quality.

The chef came out to talk through the specials and ended up making a custom vegetarian plate on the spot. That kind of personal touch goes a long way. I had a nice glass of Riesling with mine, which worked well with the lighter flavors. Food was solid, room was a bit quiet for my taste, but overall a good find.

The cakes looked incredible, and the upstairs seating is really charming. Prices felt a bit steep for what you get, but the location in the old town makes up for it.

We stopped by on a Saturday night and it was packed. Got the steak, cooked properly, nice char on the outside. The chimichurri really made it. Service was friendly but a bit stretched, took a while to get the bill. Still, I'd come back for that meat. Prices are fair for what you get.

Been coming here for a while now. The food stays consistent, which is honestly why I keep going back. Had the schnitzel again last week, still solid. Service though, yeah, can be a bit all over the place. Some days you get someone really on it, other days you're waiting a while. Not a dealbreaker for me, but I can see how it'd annoy someone visiting for the first time.

The schnitzel was crispy and tender, big portion with sides. Solid spot for traditional German food in Kiel. Got in and out quick.

Decent marzipan, no question. Prices are a bit steep, but the quality is there. Fine for a one-time visit if you're in the area.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Salad was fresh and big enough to share. Tried the currywurst too — sauce had a bit of a kick, pretty solid. Place was busy but fine. Nothing fancy, just decent food at a fair price. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Waffles were good and the coffee did the job. Dog got a welcome too, which was nice. Terrace seating was fine, but we almost walked past the place—signage along the promenade is pretty weak.

The outdoor seating is honestly the best part here—super comfy and chill for hanging out with friends. Service was friendly too, never had to wait long for anything. Inside feels a bit old-school, but who cares when you can sit outside? 😊 Would come back just for that vibe.

Service was really good when we stopped by. Friendly people, quick, and they kept checking if everything was alright. Made us feel looked after, no complaints there. Maybe a bit too attentive at times, but honestly, that's better than trying to flag someone down. Solid spot if you're after decent service.

Stopped by for a late afternoon snack. Had the waffles with strawberries and cream—pretty generous portion, honestly. Waffle itself was crisp, not soggy. Place is tiny though, got busy fast. We managed to grab a table but I could see it being a problem at peak times. Maybe call ahead if you're going with a group.

Double-cooked beef was solid. Same quality as the old Yam Yam near the station. Prices a bit steep for takeout though. Ingredients tasted fresh.

The antipasti plate really stood out to me. Fresh ingredients, nicely arranged, and the garlic pesto bread was a good call to go with it. Prices felt fair for what you get. I'd go back just for that plate again. Maybe not the quietest spot, but the food made up for it.

Came here for a quick Asian buffet fix. Food was solid, nothing fancy but tasty enough. Parking right outside is a plus. Ended with the chocolate fondue and some ice cream, that part was pretty nice. Place gets busy around noon but it's fine.

Nice place for coffee and cake. Marzipan cake was really good, Americano did the job. Service got a bit slow when it got busy, but prices are fair for the area.

Lively place with a real American vibe — TVs at the bar and a robot bringing food to the bigger tables. Kinda fun to watch, even if you're just there for a quick bite.
