The cheesecake was light and creamy, went perfectly with a glass of dessert wine.

Convenient spot for a break in the tourist area. The iced matcha latte was a nice surprise—not too sweet, just a bit earthy. Perfect for people-watching after a long walk.

Stopped in after wandering Otaru. The dim lighting and quiet vibe were just right to unwind. Had a hot sake that warmed me right up. Could've stayed for hours.

Staff are friendly and efficient. The quiet atmosphere with soft classical music is a plus for business lunches. Good for focused conversations.

This place is a quiet escape from the tourist crowds. Came for a coffee and stayed for the atmosphere. The music was just right, not too loud. Felt like a little secret spot.

Stopped by for a matcha latte with red bean. It was really refreshing, not too sweet. The space is huge and has a nice, calm feel. Just sat by the window for an hour.

Perfect for a quick bite during lunch break. Cozy spot to warm up.

Convenient spot right inside Otaru Station. The plain coffee was a bit pricey, but I didn't mind for the ease of grabbing one before my train. ☕️

A bit of a walk from Otaru Station, slightly uphill. Took the local streets, it was a nice quiet stroll though. Maybe Minami-Otaru Station is closer? Didn't check.

The owner is so welcoming. Her English menu made ordering a breeze, and the house red was a nice, easy-drinking match for the pasta.

Waffles were good, nice with coffee. Quick bite for a break. Service was a bit slow today though.

The seasonal veg here really caught my eye. So fresh and cooked just right, with a nice little char on the asparagus. You can tell they put thought into it, even for the simpler dishes. A nice find!

Been coming here for years. Their oat latte is always just right, not too sweet. The ham & cheese croissant is my go-to. It's that kind of consistency that keeps me coming back.

The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing, with comfortable sofa seating. It's a perfect spot to unwind after visiting the park.

Morihiko is a charming cafe located near Maruyama Park, offering a cozy atmosphere in a beautifully renovated old wooden house. The coffee is rich and flavorful, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a leisurely afternoon.

The cheese toast set with a cold pouched egg was just right for a quiet morning. The toast was crisp and the coffee was a good match. I appreciated the comfortable booth seating—it made the whole meal feel very relaxed. A nice, simple start to the day.

The barista suggested a light roast from their own roastery. It was just right for my morning coffee.

French toast was solid for a quick breakfast. Service was fast, which is what I needed. The black tea was a nice touch. Good spot when you're in a hurry.

The cafe has a lovely little shop attached. I browsed the home goods and clothes after my coffee. It's a nice, quiet space to wander around.

Been coming here for years, always get their Maruyama blend to go. The beans are roasted in-house, and the staff remembers how I like it. They even gave me a few new brewing tips last time. That consistency is why I keep coming back.
