charming locaton. decent food. Quick and freindly service. very reasonable prices. every visit the experience is a good one so that's why we return !

We’re OG Italians living in the US, foodies and lived and travelled the world, we know food. This is one of the best experiences we’ve had so far ever in the world. Worth a star for food, ambience and service. We came back twice in 5 days! There’s no shortage of good food in and around Gallipoli but the location, ambience and service at Lazzaro makes it exceptional. We starter with a wonderful aperitivo on the rooftop (strikingly beautiful and well decorated), followed by dinner in the stylish dining room on the ground floor. Chef knows what he’s doing. Everything on the menu is fresh and worth a try. From crudo di mare (elevated by presentation and subtle dressings), to amazing yet light pasta dishes, to a sublime stuffed calamaro. The gem is their pizza. We tried Ambra the first time and one with nduja and spicy sausage the second time. The well crafted dish description cannot make justice to what you are going to eat once presented with the dishes. Pizza is light, not loaded, yet so flavoursome. Michelin-level everything! Well done to the staff and chef. We can’t wait to be back.

Friendly and helpful staff helped navigate the menu. Food and wine were very good. Good ambience with groups of diners of all ages

The veranda out back is such a nice spot. Spent a whole evening there with friends, just hanging out. The breeze was perfect. Their beer list is solid, had a couple good ones.

A bit more air con would help. Apart from that really good stuff guys highly recommended!

I arrived at an evening where I had the restaurant for myself (Monday). The food was enjoyable and highly creative done at a presentation worth its money. You should visit this place before the Michelin inspectors will do it resulting in a climb in the ranks and the prices. Highly recommended but a bit difficult to find (I used the navigation app of my smartphone)

Saw the packed terrace and decided to give it a shot. The appetizers were solid, and the pasta portions were generous. Service was quick and kept things moving. A nice, straightforward meal.

Cozy spot with a harbor view. The lighting was just right, not too bright. Felt really comfortable in the booth by the window, could just sit there for hours.

Been coming here for years. The fish is always fresh, which is why I keep coming back.

The pasta portions are generous, and the wine list has some nice local options. Just watch out for the mosquitoes after sunset.

Family-run place, cozy patio. Staff was friendly and gave solid recommendations. Had the grilled octopus, well-seasoned and tender. Good for a relaxed lunch.

The pasticciotto is a must-try. The screen ordering was super quick, perfect for grabbing a sweet bite with a friend before our plans.

Stopped in for lunch during a coastal drive. The view from the patio is really something. Parking was easy, which is a plus out here. Food was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot.

Mr. Joseph, our waiter, really knew his wines. He suggested a local Primitivo that paired perfectly with the orecchiette. Made the whole evening. The pasta itself was good, classic Puglian style. A solid spot if you care about the drink pairing.

Beautiful garden in the back of the Cafe. The service is great and the food is delicious. We would recommend the restaurant 100%.

The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home. The service was very professional, which made for a relaxed visit.

The staff here is so nice! I asked a ton of questions about the pasta dishes and they patiently explained everything, even offered to tweak the sauce a bit for me. Really appreciated that.

Been coming for years and the chef still sources those incredible purple shrimp. Their wine list has a perfect pairing for them.

The view from the table is just stunning. Right on the water, watching the light change over the sea while you eat. That alone made the evening. The food was good, but honestly, I was just lost in that view.

The pizza was really good, but what stuck with me was the vibe. It's a warm, simple space with wooden tables and soft lighting. Just felt like a comfortable spot to unwind after a long day.

A nice quiet spot off the main road. The chairs were really comfortable for a long, relaxed lunch.

A lovely historic bar for breakfast. I appreciate the fresh orange juice and the simple, quality ingredients in their pastries. The atmosphere is charming, especially in the morning light. A peaceful spot to start the day.

The bread with olive oil and watermelon emulsion was a nice touch, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Found this cute little family spot in Gallipoli! They had some solid veggie options, which was a nice surprise here. The pasta was simple but really tasty. Just a chill place to catch up with friends over a long meal.

Staff was super nice, made us feel at home right away. The host even remembered my name from a visit months ago. Just a really friendly spot to grab a bite.
