Beautiful star vaulted ceilings, and tastefully decorated restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, although the background music was barely audible. The fave was delicious, however, the pieces of 'friselle' which adorned it were like eating tiny stones and I could imagine that someone might brake a tooth on them. The duck was rather small and overcooked which was a shame. But the side order of vegetables were delicious!

Great view, just like the name says. Perfect for a quick lunch. The pasta was ready in under 10 minutes. Solid, simple food when you're in a hurry.

Good food but service could be improved. Limited wine list

Lovely setting, great food - menu is limited but it meant the boys tried different things which was great - good value as well and the staff were lovely. NB - Remember mosquito spray you are outside and it is warm

My second visit in one week. Nice atmosfere, eccellent fresh fish, good wine. We choosed other dishes than last time. Mussels (big and fresh taste): the white wine sauce could have been tastier to my taste. Tartare of tuna, served on small green apple cubes with marinated tropea onions : good quality of fish but too large cubes. Was not really tartare to my opinion. As main course a branzino fish or as it is mostly called in Italy a spigola. Roasted.. Was served already cleaned and was delicious. Grilled vegetables. My sweet tooth tried the semifreddo of almond ice cream with figs. Good????. The fork discount is automatically applied. We had to move inside from the terrace as the wind was so strong. Inside are/were also the hotel guests. The only disturbance was too loud music, plus a TV screen which showed another (silent) music program than the loudspeakers played. With some background music and no TV it would have been more relaxing (but I am not italian). However, the food deserves to go back another time to try more dishes of the menue.I really recommend, if you still leave a table for me ????

Simple menu, solid dishes. The antipasto was great, affordable too. Low-key spot for straightforward Italian food and wine.

Had the fish. Incredibly fresh, cooked just right. The dessert buffet was also solid, lots of choices. That's pretty much what I remember from the event.

A simple spot, nice terrace. Menu's detailed, plenty of fish and meat. The grilled veggies were spot on. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for them, really brought out the smoky notes. Solid choice for a casual meal.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The pizza was solid, nice crispy crust. Fish was fresh, tasted like it just came off the boat. Staff were chill and friendly.

The staff here are so nice and attentive. I really appreciated how comfortable the chairs were, made it easy to relax with a slice of their delicious chocolate cake. My dog was welcome too, which is a plus.

The counter was packed with friselle and focaccia - so inviting! Perfect spot to catch up with a friend indoors.

Service was quick and attentive even on a busy night. They didn't rush us, which I really appreciated. Just felt a bit impersonal, like they were moving through a checklist. Still, a solid experience.

Been coming here for years. The food is always reliable and the prices are fair. It's just a solid, no-fuss spot for a meal. You know exactly what you're getting.

Tucked away in a quiet corner. Sat under the jasmine tree—very cozy. The local dishes are done with real care; the grilled octopus was spot on, tender and smoky. Service was on point. A solid wine list too.

Dining at La Locanda is a treat for the senses. The intimate setting, combined with exquisite dishes and a thoughtful wine selection, creates a memorable experience that I would recommend to anyone.

The view from this spot at the tip of Salento is something else. We sat outside for lunch and just stared at the sea the whole time. The pasta was good, but honestly, you come here for the scenery. It’s the main event.

A fantastic evening in a hidden gem.An adequate variety of typical pugliese dishes with a fine touch of a modern twist. Seafood, pasta and not to forget burrata and a short and well selected list of wines. All is profoundly balanced in taste and beautifully presented. No alibi salad or raw rosemary branches, only the dish and well thought through accompanying edible garnish. Our favorite: grilled pulpo bedded on a cream of lemony potatoes, fried carrots smoked burrata and finished with a herbal cream aside. Perfectly combined ingredients, technically very well performed. We also tried the incredibly juicy gilthead seebream with herbs, slowly baked in a parchment coat and grilled vegetables with fresh mint which is an amazing twist to freshen up a well known side dish.Dolci: hand made pastries and desserts + the artisanal gelato the team makes. My favourite - the heavenly soft short pastry pie with a lemon pastry cream. These local slow food places should run this world.

I feel bad writing this because I know this is someone’s life’s work - but this was probably the worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Food was cold (and we could hear the microwave working hard in the back), and we were given paper plates. The price did not really represent this - it was quite pricy. We were so thrilled to eat some Indian after a long time in Italy but unfortunately this was not a success.

The beach is spotless, sand is fine and golden. Water was clear when we were there. The on-site restaurant's food was good for the price. I had a grilled fish with a local white wine that paired nicely. A solid spot for a beach day with a decent drink.

Been coming here for years. That fireplace room is always cozy, especially on a cold night. Just the right spot to unwind after a long day. The wooden beams and tables never get old.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with a stunning terrace overlooking the sea. The quality of the food is top-notch, especially the seafood, and the staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend it for a romantic dinner.

Espresso is clear and well-made here. Exactly how I like it. Always consistent for my quick morning stop. Gets the job done fast.
