Stopped in for Sunday lunch and honestly the food hit that home-cooked spot. The peppermint crisp tart was the standout for me, proper nostalgic. My wife nearly welled up eating it. Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving something comforting.

Had dinner cooked by chef Michael at our place. Every bite was properly tasty, you could tell he actually cares about the food. Easily one of the best meals we had in South Africa.

Garden seating was quiet, coffee came quick. Had the vegan breakfast — fresh enough, decent portion. Staff friendly without hovering. Price fair for what you get. Solid spot if you're passing through George. Maybe not worth a special trip, but I'd sit outside again.

The terrace view over the golf course and mountains is hard to beat. Enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc with my meal—decent pour, not overpriced. Service was a bit slow but the setting made up for it.

The French onion soup was proper good, and those miso butter sweet potatoes? Definitely the highlight. Homemade iced teas are a nice touch too.

Lovely spot to sit and watch the golfers go by. The lounge has big windows that open right onto the course, so you get that fresh air without being out in it. Chairs are comfy enough to sink into for a while. Staff left me alone until I needed something, which I appreciated. Nice place to decompress after a round.

Missing salad in my takeaway order, but they fixed it right away and even threw in some wings. Really appreciated that. Akhona was lovely about it.

Pizza was decent, but getting a spot in the morning is a proper mission with it being right next to the municipality. Took me a solid 10 minutes just to park. Maybe better if you roll in later. Quick bite if you're not in a rush.

Nice spot, coffee was solid and Bulani knows what he's doing behind the machine. Food looked good too. Place has a decent vibe, not too loud.

Esther’s service really stood out — so warm and attentive without hovering. Honestly the best waitress I’ve had in a while. Made the whole meal feel easy.

Steak was cooked right and service was quick. Onion rings stood out. Bit noisy from a nearby table, but not their fault.

Tried the Hellfire burger for the first time today. That thing actually brings the heat, not just for show. Big portion too, definitely worth the price. Place was pretty busy but the staff kept things moving. Maybe not the most chill spot to hang around after you eat, but fine for a quick bite.

Went for the Maggie's Platter with my wife last week. Plenty of food for two, no complaints there. Takeaway counter was busy, but they got our order out quick enough. Place gets noisy around dinner time, but that's expected. Decent spot if you're in the area and don't want to cook.

Been coming here for a while now. Portions are solid and the food stays consistent every single time. That's honestly why I keep going back. Good spot if you just want a decent breakfast or lunch without overthinking it. Not flashy, but it does the job.
