Tried the sushi, bobotie, pizza and ostrich shank with a few friends – honestly all pretty decent. Good spot if your group can't agree on what to eat 😅

Solid chicken schnitzel. Crispy, decent size, proper flavour. Fire was going when we sat down, made it feel cosy. That's about it really.

Stopped here because it’s right next to the Queen’s hotel—super handy. Coffee was decent and the biscuits were a nice touch. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a quick break. I’d pop in again if I was in the area, just wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

The lighting in here is warm and soft, makes the whole place feel calm. We grabbed a table by the window, no rush at all. Salads were fresh, pretty solid for a farm stop. Free wifi helped pass the time while we waited for the food to come out. Nothing fancy, but it worked.

Ostrich steak was properly tender, full of flavour. Bobotie solid too. Service friendly without hovering. Decent spot if you're after something local.

Stopped for brunch, ended up reserving a table for dinner on the way back. French toast was a bit heavy on the syrup, but everything else hit the spot.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the ostrich and beet salad — fresh, came out fast. Veranda seating is nice if you can grab a spot. Menu changes daily, so no idea what you'll get next time. Solid for a quick bite, nothing fancy.

The ribs were proper fall-off-the-bone good, and honestly those onion rings might be the best I've had at any Spur. Big portions for the price too. Took my friends here after a long week and we left so full and happy. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving something hearty. 😊

The ostrich fillet was decent but honestly, for the price I expected a bigger portion. Chef came out to explain the dishes which was a nice touch, just wish there was more on the plate.

Stopped here after Cango Caves. Pizza was fresh and hit the spot. Garden setting is a nice touch. Service was quick enough for a lunch break.

Massive portions — couldn’t even finish my burger. Place is huge too, reckon it’d be good for a function. Prices were fair for what you get.

The Belgian chocolate milkshake was the highlight for me. Burgers were solid too. Lovely space inside, really comfortable seating.

The T-bone was decent for the price, but the draught beer ran out mid-pour. They swapped the keg quick enough, so no real complaints. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for what you pay.

The homemade apple pie is still as good as I remember from years back. First time I tried it was ages ago and honestly nothing else has come close since. Would drive out of my way just for a slice. The crust is perfect and the filling isn't too sweet.

Stopped here for lunch on the way through. Tagliatelle al ragu was proper, rich and slow-cooked. Sat on the patio looking over the farm dams, that view really makes it. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price. Still, decent stop if you're in the area.

The French toast here is seriously good. Comes with cream cheese, maple syrup, and caramelised fruit on top. Had a café latte alongside and honestly that combo hit the spot. Place was busy but the food came quick enough. Would go back just for that toast again.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the grilled hake with calamari. Fish was fresh, cooked properly, not overcooked. The Korean slaw on the side was a nice touch, added a bit of crunch. Did see the Wednesday sushi deal, looked decent for the price. Place was pretty quiet when I went, service was fine. Solid spot if you're after simple, well-made seafood.

Service was genuinely impressive. They remembered my last order and even offered proper table-side service, which felt more like a sit-down restaurant than a typical fast-food spot.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the ribs. Honestly some of the best I've had around here. Meat came right off the bone, sauce was solid without being too sweet. Place was pretty busy but I got seated quick. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Coffee’s been solid every time I’ve popped in — that flat white really hits the spot. Staff remember my order which is kinda nice. Place gets busy around mid-morning so grab a seat before then. Just wish they’d open a bit earlier on Sundays.

Stopped in for Sunday lunch and honestly the food hit that home-cooked spot. The peppermint crisp tart was the standout for me, proper nostalgic. My wife nearly welled up eating it. Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving something comforting.

Had dinner cooked by chef Michael at our place. Every bite was properly tasty, you could tell he actually cares about the food. Easily one of the best meals we had in South Africa.
