Rooms are clean and comfortable, right by the harbour. Parking's a bit of a hassle, but there's a 24-hour car park nearby.

The crab sandwich here is so good! It's just bursting with fresh crab, really generous with it. A simple thing but they've absolutely nailed it. Perfect for a casual lunch with friends.

Sam the barman was so welcoming. What really stood out for me was the fresh ingredients in the mocktail he suggested. You could taste the quality in every sip, which is exactly what I look for. A very comfortable spot to unwind.

Been here a few times. Staff are always friendly, not just going through the motions. You can tell they actually care about the place. Makes a difference.

Just had the steak pie here. It's proper home-cooked stuff, massive portion for the price. Place was packed with locals, had to wait a bit for a table. Feels fresh since the refurb.

Staff are really kind here. They helped my family member with extra care, which was appreciated. Food was top-notch too. Quick and efficient service, perfect for a lunch break.

The sausage roll was the star, still warm from the oven. Coffee's solid, and the cakes are fresh. Appreciate the no-plastic approach, feels good. A reliable spot for a quick, tasty bite.

Great spot for a quick pint. Love the St Austell selection. Staff were friendly, helped me pick a beer fast. Grabbed a couple of souvenirs too. Perfect for a quick stop.

Loved how friendly the staff were! The chef came over to chat and suggest what to order, which was a really nice touch. It made our little catch-up feel extra special. 😊

Great spot for a quick bite. Tables are right on the water, which is cool. Sat there with a beer watching the boats. A bit pricey for what it is, but the view makes up for it. Solid for a relaxed afternoon.

Came with a group, the sausages were spot on. Pies had a nice flaky crust. Staff were friendly, made us feel welcome. Good spot for a relaxed meal.

Upgraded to the surf and turf from the mixed grill. Massive portion, honestly couldn't finish it all. The steak was spot on, and the prawns were juicy. Flavour was really good. Just a solid, satisfying meal.

A lovely little pub off the beaten track. The Sunday roast was spot on, really tasty and came out nice and quickly. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which always makes for a relaxed meal. A very comfortable spot.

I had the afternoon tea at the Red Lion, and it was absolutely delightful! The sandwiches were delicious, and the cake selection was outstanding.

Been coming here for years. The team always makes you feel welcome, which is why I keep coming back.

Nice spot on the seafront. They had a local lobster special one day, but it was sold out by the time we got there.

The steak was cooked just right, and the mussels tasted so fresh. The whole place has this lovely, worn-in feel to it. A proper old pub that serves really good food.

The Brie and honey dip was really nice. A lovely spot for a relaxed lunch. Service was quick and friendly, though the tables are a bit close together. The location adds to the charm.

Been coming here for years, and the beer garden is still the main draw for me. It's just a great spot to unwind with a pint when the sun's out. The staff are always sound, which keeps me coming back.

The beer garden is such a nice spot to catch up with friends on a sunny day. They have a solid choice of beers, which is perfect for a casual hangout. Really welcoming vibe.

Popped in for a quick pint. It was a bit quiet, but the food going out to other tables looked really good. Might have to come back for a proper meal sometime.

The Sunday roast was pretty good. The beef was tender and the Yorkshire puddings were a decent size. The only slight letdown was the vegetables, which came on a separate plate and were a bit overcooked for my taste.

Took the kids here, and they were glued to the play area. The pizza was a real highlight – thin, crispy base with a great char on the crust. My pepperoni was spot on. Decent beer list as well.

The all-you-can-eat wings are good value. They serve them in a big bowl, and the staff offered a takeaway box when we had leftovers.

The Sunday carvery was the standout. The roast beef was cooked just right, and the Yorkshire puddings were spot on.

The chicken jalfrezi was tasty, and the soy sauce chicken pieces were nice too. What really stood out was the service—our server was so friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It made for a very relaxed, comfortable meal.

Popped in for a quiet solo lunch. The craft beer list is thoughtful, and I had the fish and chips. The barman suggested a local pale ale that cut through the batter perfectly. Nice, easy spot.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always been solid. But lately? It's just gotten even better. Noticed it on the steak last week - cooked perfectly, every time. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Proper Cornish pub, feels like stepping back in time. Portions are huge, couldn't finish my pasty!
