The portions are huge here! I couldn't finish my pasta, but it was so tasty I had to take it home. Love that they're so welcoming to dogs 🐕. A solid spot.

Friendly bar staff and the outdoor area's nicely sheltered. Good drink deals, had a couple pints and stayed dry even when it drizzled. Solid spot for that.

The cod was fresh and flaky, the batter crisp. Chips were proper, not greasy. Service was spot-on and genuinely friendly. It’s a proper local pub, full of families making a nice buzz. A solid meal.

Lovely spot for a catch-up with friends. The nautical theme is so cosy, and the staff are genuinely friendly. They even remembered my friend's usual order! Made it feel like a proper local.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are still generous. Prices haven't gone crazy either, which is a relief these days. You're really paying for that view, and it's always worth it.

The quiz night was such a laugh! Perfect for a group of mates. We grabbed some local ciders from the bar and ended up staying way longer than planned. The whole place gets so lively.

Stayed in a spacious room for a night. The historic, quirky layout is charming. Breakfast was good, but the real highlight was the wine list – found a lovely local red that paired perfectly with the evening. Staff were friendly about suggestions.

The Sunday roast was spot on, and the wine list had some really nice options to go with it. Good value for a proper carvery.

Popped in for a late lunch. The chicken wings and squid were really tasty, good flavour. They have a decent selection of lagers and cocktails too. A solid spot for a casual bite.

I had a lovely dinner with my family, and the lasagna and rump steak were delightful. The prices were reasonable, and the service from Mr. Leigh was excellent!

Loved the modern rooms with balconies overlooking the estuary. The bathrooms were a real highlight - so luxurious with those deep baths and walk-in showers.

Popped in for a pint after a coastal walk with friends. The Tribute was spot on, really hit the spot. Nice to see a few local ales from St Austell on tap. Good spot for a casual catch-up.

Lovely Sunday lunch. The fire was lit, so it was really cosy and warm inside. The beef was delicious, and the cauliflower cheese was a nice surprise. Service was friendly and attentive.

The service was quick and friendly, which I really appreciated. We were seated comfortably and the food arrived promptly. The prices felt fair for the quality you get. A nice, hassle-free meal.

Been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. Booked a table for a 30th birthday party last weekend. The whole vibe was just right—lively but not chaotic, perfect for a group celebration. It's that kind of reliable, consistent atmosphere that keeps me coming back.

The staff really knew their stuff when I asked about gluten-free options. They took the time to explain what was safe, which was a relief. Made ordering so much easier.

Nice to find a place with so much space. We just walked in and they found us a table outside without any fuss.

The new owners have really opened the place up. Much brighter and more spacious now. I asked for a smaller portion of the steak and they accommodated without any fuss. Good to see.

Parking is a bit steep, but the spot is fantastic. Right off the coastal path, and the place itself has loads of room. Feels really open and airy inside, which I loved.

Popped in for a pint. Their own-brewed pale ale was really solid, crisp and not too bitter. The taproom itself is pretty relaxed, though it does get busy with groups later on.

The staff were lovely, gave a really warm welcome. Service was spot on - attentive but not hovering. The wine list had some interesting local options, which was a nice touch. Made for a relaxed evening.

A real gem of a pub. The pork dish was incredible, so tender and flavourful. The halloumi starter was also a hit. Really enjoyed the whole meal.

The gin selection is fantastic. The staff really know their stuff, which helped me pick a great local rum to go with the charcuterie.

Thomas explained the cake options clearly.
