Came here with a few mates for a casual catch-up. The vibe is so cosy, exactly what you want for a long chat. We ended up staying for hours just talking, felt like we were in someone's living room. The staff were lovely and didn't rush us at all, which was perfect.

Lovely spot for a drink. The terrace view at sunset is really quite nice. Cocktails were decent, a bit pricey perhaps, but it's a fine place to unwind.

The mussels here are a real standout. Honestly, some of the best I've had in ages. The fish and chips were decent, nice and crisp, but those mussels are the main event.

The place was absolutely packed on a Friday night, but the staff handled it so well. Everyone was still really attentive and calm, never felt rushed at all.

Nice little spot for a light lunch. The soup and sandwich combo hit the spot, and the view from the window was lovely.

Been coming here for years, and they’ve always been great with our nut allergy. Makes it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

This place is so welcoming to dogs, which is a huge plus for me and my friends. We had a lovely pint of Cornish Ale and enjoyed the relaxed mix of locals and visitors. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

Decent coffee, not too pricey. Grabbed a breakfast roll after parking at the wharf. The portion was just right for the price, actually. Good spot for a quick bite.

Been coming here for years, and they always remember the little things. Last time it was my birthday, and they brought out a cake and a glass of prosecco without me even mentioning it. That's the kind of place this is. The naan is still the best around.

Been back a few times now. The ingredients are always fresh, and the kitchen clearly knows what they're doing. Everything just comes out right.

Good choice of beers and ciders on tap. The Tribute ale was a solid pint, really enjoyed it. A bit pricey for what it is, but the quality is there.

Loved the upstairs area in this cute cafe. It's got a cosy, tucked-away feel. Had the vanilla and pumpkin cake with a gingerbread latte – really nice. Prices are decent.

First time here and the menu really surprised me. That beetroot tartare with horseradish cream was a wild idea, but it totally worked. The new kitchen team knows what they're doing.

Lovely view over Fistral Beach from the outside tables. It's a small place, so you'll want to book ahead. The breeze was perfect.

Been going here for years, and their pasty is still the best around. The pastry just melts, and the filling's always spot on. That's why I keep coming back.

Perfect for a quick bite. The scones are always fresh, and the savoury cream tea is a real treat. Service is quick, so you're in and out fast. Just what you need on a busy day.

The Buddha bowl here is huge. Packed with roasted sweet potato, quinoa, chickpeas, and a really good tahini dressing. Had to get a takeaway box for half of it. Just a solid, filling vegan meal.

The oysters were briny and fresh, really full of flavour. The mussels were plump and the broth was rich, perfect for dipping the bread. The burger was juicy too, well-seasoned. Seafood's definitely the thing to get here.

Service was really friendly and attentive. The lamb shank was cooked perfectly, fell right off the bone. Portions are generous, couldn't finish my plate. A solid spot for a hearty meal.

The open kitchen was cool, you can see everything. They handled a big group without a hitch. Food came out steady, no chaos.

The staff really knew their stuff about allergies. I asked about dairy-free options and they checked everything thoroughly, even offered to tweak a sauce. Felt safe ordering, which isn't always the case.

Stumbled upon this place in Truro. The Nepalese food is packed with flavour, a nice change. Owner knows his stuff.

Fresh fish and chips. Curry sauce was spot on. Big portion, good price. Ate outside, simple and nice. Solid.

Really appreciated the attention to dietary needs here. The server knew exactly which dishes could be made gluten-free and walked me through the menu. Ended up trying the pasta, which was a solid choice.

The two-course meal for three was really well-priced. The portions were generous and the food was solid. It's a good spot when you just want a decent, straightforward meal without breaking the bank.

Food nice, very noisy 12.5% added on to bill at the end a bit steep seeing as the wine was just plonged down on edge of table I would have expected better service fir the prices paid

The £10 steak lunch was a proper find. Cooked just right, juicy and full of flavour. The tropical tunes and decor were a nice touch, felt like a little escape for an hour.

The duck main was lovely, cooked just right. What really stood out was the service - our waiter was so attentive without being overbearing. A very comfortable spot for a relaxed meal, the booths are nice and spacious.

Nice pub in a pretty village. The staff were friendly.
