A lovely and delicious lunch. Roasted rabbit was particularly good as was the labyrinth starter that included many small tastes. The tour of the Etruscan ruins underneath was a stunning surprise. Very pleasant.

They squeezed us in as a big group, no booking! Staff were so patient explaining the menu. The wild boar with that traditional sauce was the star &ndash; rich and tender.

The food was excellent. I ordered the pork dish with roasted potatoes. It was one of the best meals on our 5 week trip throughout Italy. Highly recommend.

We booked this only 20 mins before arriving for Sunday lunch. We sat outside with a good view of the Umbrian  countryside. To start we shared octopus and potatoes and then both chose the lobster pasta. The starter was good and the main spectacular. The dish came with half a lobster in shell with the pasta in a rich seafood sauce. Will will definitely come back.

A solid spot for a break on the drive from Rome to Florence. The pasta was pretty good, and the service was friendly. Just a short detour off the main road. The only thing was the dining room felt a bit warm.

After winding, small roads leading up and up, we found Gualdo Cattaneo and the restaurant.  It was well worth the exciting trip!  Both the food and service are marvelous.  Cooking the many meats on a roaring fire produced delicious, flavorful, tender results and the rest of the considerable menu was equally yummy.  This is certainly a special, excellent restaurant.

The food here is exceptional! We enjoyed a variety of dishes, all made with fresh, local ingredients. The homemade flavors and the use of garden herbs made every bite delightful.

Only place in the area where it is possible to get the most common and anonymous food that you can find everywhere in Italy at an outrageously high prices justified by the name dropping of a famous chef seen in tv shows. With same money spent you get to eat real good in almost every other restaurant around. Not humble, not tasty, not value for what you spend. Far gone from the traditional cuisine. They certainly will not see me again. In addition, the waiting time was around 1h for one single dish - considering the place was not full. I dont think they have recurrent customers as those who have been, will never come back. The restaurant is looking for a short term gain per customer. Do Not go.

Superb little restaurant on a mountainside. No English spoken but had menu in English on line, so easy. Owner very friendly and food just great!  My husband had the best pork he&rsquo;s ever had!
