The jungle-themed decor here is honestly the main draw — it won a design award and you can tell. Felt like dining inside a greenhouse. Food was decent but didn’t quite live up to the setting. I’d come back for drinks just to soak in the vibe again. Maybe skip the mains though. 🌿

Food's decent here, and they actually get your order right when you ask for extras. That's rare for a fast food place. Drive-thru can be a bit slow though, so don't be in a rush. I've been a few times, it's fine for a quick bite when you're nearby. Just don't expect it to be super quick.

The pizza was decent but arrived a bit soggy in the middle. Service dragged—staff looked swamped. A glass of red helped cut through it, though.

Decent lunch spot. The tasting menu is reasonably priced for what you get. Food was pretty good, service fine. Only small gripe - they use disposable chopsticks, which felt a bit cheap. But the dishes themselves were solid enough that I didn't really mind. Wouldn't go out of my way, but happy to come back if I'm in the area.

The burgers on pretzel buns are solid—bun holds up even with all that sauce dripping everywhere. Portions are decent sized. Just be ready to wait a bit for your food to come out. Took a while but it was worth it.

Food was decent and the staff friendly enough. Gets proper noisy when it's full though, hard to hear yourself think. Fine for a casual bite if you're in the area.

Fun cow theme throughout, even the bathroom moos at you 😄 Food came out fast, perfect for a quick lunch break. Not fancy but does the job.

Nobuhle was a decent server—friendly, attentive, kept us posted when drinks took a while. Pretty good service, made the stop worthwhile.

Thabo looked after us the whole night — super friendly and never once had to chase him for anything. Food was solid too, can see why locals keep coming back.

Friendly service and the food came out fresh. Nice touch that you walk in through the Sasol garage—grabbed a bottle of wine on the way out to pair with dinner.

Caramel shake was the move. Thick, sweet, exactly what I needed after the meal. Didn't try much else but honestly that drink alone made it worth stopping in. Place was busy but whatever. Solid spot if you're after something cold and sugary.

Friendly staff and the place was spotless. Food came out fresh, cashier had a nice vibe. Solid quick stop if you're in the area.

The 3-course catch was solid, popcorn prawn starter was the highlight. Service from our waitress was spot on.

Phumzile looked after us properly for a farewell dinner—always around when needed but never hovering. Food and drinks were on point. That vibe just made the whole evening feel right. Only thing is it got a bit loud later on, but honestly didn’t bother me much. Solid spot.

The music voting thing is such a clever idea, got our whole group chatting and picking songs together. Made the night feel way more fun than just a regular bar. 🎶

Stopped in for a quick bite and honestly the food came out fast and hot. Got the burger and it was decent, nothing mind-blowing but solid. Place was clean too, even the bathroom which you don't always see. Staff were friendly enough. Wouldn't go out of my way but if you're nearby it does the job.

No. 9 of Local Restaurants in Johannesburg

The owner treated us like we'd known him for years. Really friendly guy, made the whole meal feel easy. Staff were on it too.

The zucchini fries were solid and that halloumi hit the spot. Place was buzzing with belly dancing and bouzouki players, proper Greek night out.

Lovely spot in Centurion, those Cape Dutch buildings are really something. Food was solid, nothing crazy but well done. Nice place to just chill for a bit.

The ribs were properly tender, fell off the bone easy. Portion size was solid for the price. Server Amos kept things moving, real friendly guy.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Miso soup hit the spot, salty and warm. Steamed buns were fresh, pretty tasty. Place is right in the middle of Sandton, easy to find. Vibe was decent too. Just wish the service was a bit faster, had to wait a while for the food. Still, good for a quick bite if you're in the area.
