Came here with a few friends for dinner and honestly the salmon was the highlight—cooked just right, super juicy. We also got the prawn curry which was creamy and packed with flavour. Place had a nice buzz, not too loud that you can't chat. Service was friendly too. Wouldn't mind coming back for that salmon again 😊

Great local spot. The all-day breakfast hits the spot and the Tuesday quiz night is proper fun. Cocktails were decent too.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up really liking the vibe — lots of random decor to look at while you wait. The rectangular pizzas were the standout for me, decent price too. Drinks came strong, not watered down at all. Only thing: they add a 10% tip automatically, which felt a bit much for just two of us.

The eggs benedict at this place were done right. Hollandaise had that proper tang, yolk still runny when I cut in. Fresh orange juice actually tasted squeezed, not from a carton. That's basically all I need from a breakfast spot. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but the food delivered.

The breakfast pastries were really well done, and the space has this lovely charm to it. Service felt a bit hit or miss though—one moment attentive, the next kinda distant. Still, decent for a slow morning.

Came with a group of eight on a Friday. The Dolci Dela Nonna dessert was the highlight—easily one of the best I've had. Solid spot for a family get-together.

Stopped by for a late lunch with the family. Staff were on it from the start, sorted us a table near the play area so the kids could run off some energy. Food came out hot, decent portions for the price. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Solid spot if you're in the area and need a no-fuss meal.

We were a group of 8 and Nonhle looked after us really well. She handled all our little requests without any fuss. Food was solid, everyone cleaned their plates. Place is cozy, not too noisy so we could actually chat. Only thing, service got a bit slow when they got busy but she kept checking in. Would go back.

Decent spot in Edenvale. Arancini and the 4-cheese gnocchi were pretty good, prices fair for what you get. Service was friendly enough.

The butternut soup starter was a nice touch, but the seafood platter with baby lobster really got me. Peri-peri sauce on the side was proper. Portion felt a bit small for the price though.

The rump steak with cheese and shrimp sauce never misses. Baked potato on the side does the job. My usual spot when I want something reliable.

Big place, pretty busy when we went. Took a while to get the waiter's attention but the food made up for it. I had the grilled chicken and it was properly seasoned, not dry at all. Cocktail was strong too. Just don't come here if you're in a hurry, that's all.

Went for the platter for two. Prawns were fresh, nicely done. Sauce had proper flavour, not that watery stuff. Service was quick enough. Only thing – no wet wipes after the prawns. Hands were sticky for a while. Bit annoying but the food made up for it.

The lighting in there is something else—soft and warm, makes you want to stay longer. Pizza was solid, crust had that nice chew. Pasta was good too, nothing fancy but comforting. Place had a relaxed hum to it, not too loud. Just a dependable little spot for a weeknight bite. Maybe slightly pricey for what it is, but the atmosphere kinda makes up for it.

Truffle pasta was legit the best I've had in JHB. Wine list had some solid picks too. Place was a bit quiet for a Friday night but honestly didn't mind.

The chef came out to say hi when we walked in. Braised beef was properly tender, cooked the way it should be. You can tell they put real effort into the food here.

Went for the set menu and it was pretty good. The steak came out exactly as asked, and the sauce was decent. Place was a bit noisy by the time we left, but that's on us for booking late. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Great spot for a group dinner! We had a big table and the food still came out fast and hot. The owner even stopped by for a quick chat. Spicy chicken liver pizza is a must. 🍕

Solid lunch spot. The grilled kingklip was cooked properly, flaky and moist. Service kept up even when it got busy around 1pm.

The tasting menu was beautifully plated, though the price tag is steep. Still, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh.

Food was decent but honestly the portions are what sold me. Bigger than I expected for the price. Service took a while though, we sat there staring at empty plates for ages.

Had a relaxed lunch here last week. Greek salad was fresh, dips had good seasoning. Pita was light too. Service didn't rush us, just sat watching the square. Solid spot.

Food was solid and the service stayed on point. Just check the bill before paying — ours had a small error. Background music was a nice touch though.

The burger was properly juicy, not dry at all. Wings had a good kick to them. Cocktail was fine, nothing fancy but did the job. Place gets busy around 7pm, took a while to get our order in. Still, solid enough for a casual dinner when you can't be bothered to cook.

Solid spot for a quick bite when I'm shopping. Staff were friendly and got me in and out fast even though it was packed. Food did the job, nothing fancy but consistent.

Namhla took care of us properly—friendly without hovering. Food came quick, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for what we paid. Fine for a casual lunch, just don't come starving.
