The caramel pancakes were the standout. Sweet without being too heavy, and the chocolate sundae on the side worked well. One of the better desserts I've had lately.

The ambiance of this place is perfect for a night out, with a relaxed and comfortable setting. The staff is welcoming, and the food presentation is beautiful, making it a great choice for special occasions.

Restaurant in Johannesburg Marriott Hotel Melrose Arch

Stopped by for lunch, ordered the veggie platter even though I'm a meat guy. Honestly? Really good. Fresh ingredients, nicely put together. Garden seating is chill, nice place to just sit and eat. Staff were friendly enough. Only thing is the portions are a bit small for the price. Wouldn't mind coming back though.

The quality of the food is commendable, and despite some service issues, the management seems open to feedback and improvement.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast. Food came out fast, which I needed. Portion was solid for the price. Place looks really nice inside, one of the better Tashas branches I've been to. Staff kept checking in too. No complaints.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night. Got the chicken bao and honestly it was proper good, soft bun and tasty filling. Service though, a bit all over the place. One guy looked like he didnt want to be there. Not a big deal if you just want decent food without the fuss. I'd go back for that bao again.

The burgers were solid and the sweet potato fries hit the spot. Chill vibe inside, nothing fancy.

Food came out hot and the place was tidy. Gets pretty busy on weekends though, so be ready to wait a bit. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 👍

Food's decent, had the grilled chicken and it was cooked well. Waitress was friendly enough but service felt a bit all over the place. Place is kinda dark inside even during the day, not the brightest spot. Fine for a quick bite but nothing that'll blow you away.

Service was quick even though the place was full. Got the strawberry bacon pancake — surprisingly good combo. Food came out fast, no complaints.

The coffee gear lineup here is seriously impressive — staff actually know their beans and helped me pick something good. Ended up trying the chocolate mousse cake too. Rich but not too sweet. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

The wood-fired pizza at this place is solid. Crisp base, decent toppings, and honestly one of the better options in Pretoria. I usually go for the Dolce Vita. Service was fine, nothing flashy, but they got the order right and didn't keep me waiting too long. Prices are fair for what you get. I'd come back if I'm in the area.

Stopped by on a busy Friday night. Steak was cooked properly and the tacos had real flavour, not the bland stuff you get everywhere. Place has a modern vibe, music was decent. Service did drag a bit because it was packed, but the waiters stayed friendly about it. Would go back for the food alone.

Burgers here are solid, meat dishes too. Portions big enough that I left full. Prices fair for what you get. My regular spot now when I can't decide where to eat.

Stopped here for a late lunch. Outdoor seating by the fountain is nice, not too noisy. Had the grilled chicken salad - decent portion, dressing on the side which I appreciated. Staff were friendly enough without hovering. Menu's pretty varied, saw some breakfast options I'd try next time. Prices are fair for the area. Only minor thing - took a while to get the bill. But overall a solid choice if you're in the area.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The food was solid, no complaints there. Service was friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for the bill. Place has that proper old-school deli feel, not trying too hard. Good spot if you're in the area and want something straightforward. Prices are fair for what you get.

Decent spot for a proper meal. Food was well-seasoned, nothing fancy but solid. Service kept things moving without hovering. Quiet enough to actually have a conversation, which I appreciate. Not the kind of place you'd go out of your way for, but if you're in the area and need a reliable dinner, it does the job. Fair for the price.

Patricia took care of us properly - quick, friendly, no fuss. Food came out fast and hit the spot. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Staff were friendly and took time to explain the menu when I couldn't decide. Went with their suggestion and it worked out well. Solid service, no complaints.

Lovely spot with those big windows and the glass wine cellar right at the entrance. Sushi was fresh, steak cooked properly. Got a bit loud later in the evening though. 🍣

Stopped by for breakfast the other morning. Boerewors was properly done, good flavour. Cappuccino was decent too. Slindiwe looked after us well, friendly without hovering. Place was busy but we got our food in good time. Nothing fancy, just a solid breakfast. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Service was decent - Winnie looked after us well even though the place was packed. Could see the team actually helping each other out, which was nice.
