The schnitzel was huge, honestly could&#39;ve fed two. Paid &euro;14 and left properly full, that&#39;s rare around here. Service was fine, no complaints. Place gets busy so you might wait a bit, but for the portion size it&#39;s worth it.

The burger was decent and reasonably priced. Service stayed polite even when their order system had a hiccup &mdash; server owned up to it. Fine spot for a quick bite.

Stopped by the cart on the promenade for a latte macchiato&mdash;honestly didn&rsquo;t even reach for sugar, which says a lot. Nice touch with the reusable cups, too. Would&rsquo;ve loved a proper wine option, but for a quick coffee stop it hit the spot.

Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday. Pizza was thin, crispy, proper Italian style. You can hear the staff speaking Italian to each other in the back, which felt genuine. Not the fanciest place, but the food does the talking. Prices are fair for the quality. I&#39;d go back if I&#39;m in the area again.

Great ice cream right by the Kiel Canal. Watched the big ships pass while eating my scoop. They even have a vending machine for after closing, which is pretty handy. 🍦

The pizza was decent, actually well-made and the crust had a nice chew. But I gotta say, the lasagna felt overpriced for what you got. Portion was on the smaller side, which was a bit of a letdown. Place itself has a nice vibe, but I&#39;d probably just stick to the pizza next time.

The venison carpaccio was the standout &mdash; really tender and well-seasoned. Braised ox cheeks were solid too. Lemon sorbet cleaned things up nicely. Service friendly, though the place got a bit loud later.

The homemade tortelloni was solid, and that warm bread with aioli&mdash;honestly, I could&rsquo;ve just ordered another round of that and been happy. Paired it with a glass of something light and it worked nicely. Service was quick, no complaints there. Place had a good hum to it, not too loud. Wouldn&rsquo;t mind going back for a longer dinner next time.

Lamb chops were underseasoned and cooked on a griddle, not grilled. Slightly disappointing. But the meal was decent, and the price fits the prime location.

The buffet had a nice variety, and the spring rolls were really good. They kept refilling everything, which I appreciated. Just wish the restrooms were a bit cleaner.
