The beachfront spot is hard to beat—comfy seats, chill vibe. I ordered the prawns and they were plenty for the price. Portion size surprised me, honestly. Staff warmed up once they figured out we were tourists. Only thing, my wine arrived after the food, but the rosé paired well enough with the garlic butter.

The view over Manapany basin is the real draw here. The vanilla duck curry was tasty, though the terrace got a bit busy for lunch.

The lasagna was really good and the portion size surprised me—definitely enough for two meals. Wish I had room to try their tiramisu though.

Service was fine, maybe a bit too attentive honestly. Food tasted good but portions are small for what you pay. Dessert was just okay, didn't seem fresh.

The yellow curry in coconut juice was so good, we had leftovers for the next day. Portions are huge. The Thai couple running the place is super friendly.

Owner was welcoming, food tasted proper. Place is tiny, maybe 5-6 tables, so don't come with a big group. Fine for a quick meal. Service was attentive without hovering. Good spot if you're in the area and want something real. Just be ready to wait if it's busy.

The octopus salad looked almost too pretty to eat. Tasted fresh, citrusy, really good. Place was quiet for a Tuesday night, so we lingered a bit. Service was fine, nothing crazy. Wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price, but I left satisfied. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The tuna tataki here was really good, exactly what I was craving. Cocktails were solid too, not too pricey for what you get. Nice spot to hang out with friends for a casual dinner, though it did get a bit busy later in the evening. Would come back for those drinks again 🍹

The buckwheat crepes here are what got me through the door — decent price for the portion. Place was quiet when I went, which made it easy to actually enjoy the food. Pizza looked good too but I stuck with the crepe. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something simple.

The owner actually came over to see how things were going. That was a nice touch, not something you see often. I had the fish curry, and honestly, the portion was decent for what you pay. It was cooked well, flaky and the sauce had a real kick. Price felt fair for the quality. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Got in at 9pm when most places were closing. Waiter still took us and even made a crispy chicken that wasn't on the menu anymore. Food was solid, service saved the night.

Been coming here for years. Pasta's still handmade, pizza crust holds up well. Owner remembers regulars, which is nice. Solid spot when you need an Italian fix.

The buffet’s the way to go—biryani and fish curry were properly spiced and fresh. Dessert section’s pretty small though, so don’t come expecting much on that front.

The DJ actually played a decent mix—got people moving without forcing it. Staff kept things running smoothly even when it got packed. That’s about it. Solid spot if you’re in the mood to dance and not overthink things.

The buffet’s the way to go if you wanna try a bit of everything Creole. Portions are decent for the price, honestly didn’t expect that. Staff kept checking in too, which was nice. Only thing—it gets busy around noon, so you might wait a bit for a table. Still, left full without breaking the bank. 👍

The wood-fired curries were tasty, but the portions felt a bit small for the price. Coconut tart was the highlight though. 😕

The seafood paella was fresh and the rice had good flavor. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Solid spot if you're craving Spanish food.

Stopped by for a late lunch on a workday. Place was busy but I got seated right away. Tried the lamb dish—cooked properly, decent portion for the price. Service was efficient, no fuss. Location is convenient if you're in the area. Solid option, nothing more.

The garden setting is what got me—it really does feel like a hidden spot in the middle of the city. I sat outside and the greenery made it easy to stay longer than planned. Food was fresh and plated nicely, no complaints there. Service was friendly but took a while between courses. Still, the atmosphere alone makes it worth a stop.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Had the buckwheat galette with ham and a fried egg—proper crispy edges, not soggy. Cider was local and went down easy. Place is small, tables close together, but nobody rushes you. Just solid home cooking. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

Hidden spot but easy to like. Buffet let me try a bunch of Creole dishes without overthinking it. Waitress was nice, price felt fair.

Decent spot. The food was pretty good and the bill felt fair. Mathieu took care of us well. Only thing—the fans weren't doing much, got a bit warm inside.

Stunning spot right on the lake with the mountains behind. Food was tasty but portions felt a bit small for the price. Still, worth it for the view in Cilaos.

Sushi was fresh and portions are generous. Foie gras one really stood out. Rice to filling ratio a bit heavy for me though.

Dropped by for lunch, got the vanilla duck. Meat was tender, sauce had that real Bourbon vanilla taste. Place was pretty quiet when I went. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Price felt okay for what you got. Would probably come back if I'm in the area again.

Simple, tasty food. Bar mural's worth a look. Staff seemed new but service was friendly and quick.
