Stopped by for lunch, ordered the rougail morue. Flavor was solid, portion size fair for what you pay. Terrace seating made it easy to relax after a busy morning. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Decent option if you're in the area and want local Creole food without the tourist markup.

The tapas were really good and the price felt fair for what you got. I sat near the back and the vibe was chill, not too loud. Staff checked on me just enough without hovering. Sunday karaoke was a fun extra, though I didn't stay for it. Solid spot if you want an easy meal.

Nice spot right on the promenade. Tried the local fish and it was fresh, portions are big. Service was friendly but a couple things on the menu were sold out. 🌴

Dined in this time instead of grabbing takeout—way better experience. The chicken curry was properly hot and fresh, not soggy like the last time I ordered to go. Waitress was sweet too. The takeout window next door though? Totally different vibe, kinda chaotic. Stick to sitting down if you can.

The goat cheese salad hit the spot. Plenty of tang, decent portion for the price. Brunch menu lets you pick what you actually want. That's about it.

The buffet here is the move — you get to try a bit of every Creole curry without committing to one plate. That smoky wood-fired flavor comes through in everything. Service was nice and patient with my broken French. Only downside: I left way too full. 😅

Stumbled in without expectations, left impressed. The duck confit was spot on—crispy skin, tender inside, exactly how it should be. Portion size decent for the price. Service was friendly, didn't hover. Only downside, got a bit noisy when the place filled up. Would come back for that dish alone.

Rooms are clean and the bed was comfy, but yeah, road noise plus the horses next door can get annoying. Breakfast felt a bit basic for what they charge. Still, I keep coming back for the location.

The panna cotta saved the night after they told us tiramisu was gone. Looked pretty on the plate, taste was decent too. But honestly for what we paid, I expected a bit more on the plate. Portion felt small for the price tag. Fine for a treat, not somewhere I'd go regularly.

The raclette was solid. Cheese melted properly, charcuterie was decent quality. Staff left us alone enough but checked in when needed. Fine for a casual dinner spot. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The tuna tartare was so good, and the staff made us feel super welcome. Great spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Stumbled on this place and honestly the smoked meats were the highlight—super tender, nicely seasoned. I tried the veggie burger too, it was pretty generous. Staff were chill and helpful. City view from the table is a nice touch. Parking’s a bit of a pain though, had to circle around a bit. Still, I’d go back for that brisket.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and shared a few curries. The spicy side sauces were the highlight—fresh, punchy, not too heavy. Portions are decent for the price. Place is small, so don’t expect much room, but it worked fine for us. Probably the best meal I had on the island, though I wish they had more seating.

Small spot in Saint-Pierre run by an actual Japanese chef. Sushi and sashimi were precise, clean flavors. Place is tiny though, definitely book ahead.

Stopped by for lunch, got the catch of the day. Really fresh, you can tell they use local stuff. The sauce was light, didn't cover the fish. Place is small, got busy around 1pm. Prices fair for what you get. Wish the bread was warmer though.

The owners were really welcoming and happy to chat. They handled my vegetarian request without any fuss. Pretty good spot.
