The Szechuan dishes and dumplings were solid, and the owner came by to chat in English which was nice. It's a bit pricey though. Dining room was pretty quiet when we stopped in.

The tomato soup was a nice start, really fresh tasting. I had the grilled chicken salad, ingredients felt high quality. Fries were a bit soggy though. Also, heads up, the water they bring isn't free, they charge for it. Just a small thing, but good to know.

The lunch buffet here is a solid deal, honestly. Lots of options, both local stuff and Chinese dishes. I’m picky about seating and the chairs were comfortable enough to linger over coffee after. Dinner’s pricier, but for a quick, no-fuss lunch, it hits the spot. Service was friendly when I asked for a refill on my drink.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed their chicken sandwich. Portion was decent for the price, honestly didn't expect that much. Place was pretty busy so I waited a bit, but the food came out fresh. Fine if you're not in a rush.

Cozy little place right in Geraardsbergen’s center. Coffee was solid, pastries clearly homemade. Would’ve loved a proper wine option with the tart, but the warm welcome made up for it.

Perfect spot for a quick bite near the station. Grabbed a coffee and a croissant on the way to work. Service was fast, coffee was hot and strong. Exactly what I needed. The croissant was decent, maybe a bit dry. Good for a fast stop.

The V60 El Salvador was a nice change after all the espressos I'd been having. Place was quieter than other coffee spots nearby, so I could actually sit and enjoy it without rushing. Staff left me alone but checked in once, which felt right. Just wish the cup was a bit bigger for the price.

The Kenyan filter coffee was poured properly—not too fast, not too slow—and it showed in the cup. Bright, clean finish. I paired it with a small pastry, though honestly the coffee held its own. Staff let me sit and read without hovering. Cozy spot, easy to lose an afternoon here. Would come back for that pour again.

Been coming here for months now. Coffee’s always fresh, never had a bad batch. The homemade cookies are a solid bonus too.

The mussels were spot on—cooked in white wine and garlic, exactly what I needed on a chilly evening. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for a table. Only downside: the steak tartare missed the mark for me, a bit too tangy. Also, the restroom situation could be better, but I'd still come back for those mussels. 🐚

The pancakes were really nice, and the fruits were fresh. The booths are comfortable, which is a plus for me. Service was friendly and not rushed. A good spot for a relaxed breakfast.

The kimchi cheese toastie is the reason to come here. Fermented kick cuts through the melted cheese perfectly, and the bread holds up without getting soggy. Cappuccino had proper foam, not that burnt milk thing. Didn't care much about the vibe, but the sandwich alone makes it worth the trip.

The veggie balls are still my go-to here. Tried the new tortelloni last week, sauce had real flavor and the veggies weren't mushy. For what you pay, the portion feels fair. Not a fancy spot but it does the job when you want something comforting without emptying your wallet.

The salads here are really fresh and they don’t skimp on toppings. I did the build-your-own thing for lunch and it hit the spot. Price felt fair for the portion. Place is right in the center of Mons so it’s easy to pop in. Just a heads up, seating is a bit cramped if you’re planning to stay a while.

The handmade ceramics and tableware really caught my eye. Nice to see a place putting thought into the details like that.

Had a quick business lunch here. The service was really fast, which was perfect for my schedule. The setting is pleasant, with nice natural light.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The burger was solid, juicy patty and fresh bun. Hit the spot when you just need something simple and reliable.

Came with a big group and they managed it pretty well. Waiter actually took time to explain the menu, which helped. One dish was out but they suggested something else that worked fine. Food was solid, nothing crazy but decent. Place got a bit loud with everyone talking, but that's on us I guess.

The crepes here are quite good. I had the ham and cheese one, it was just right. Coffee was decent too. A pleasant spot for a simple lunch.

Standard McDonald's, nothing fancy. But the local burger options were actually pretty tasty, hit the spot after a long day.

The Doppio was solid, pulled just right. Americano too, actually. Staff were friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Toilets were clean, always a plus in my book. Place has a certain calm to it, hard to describe. Just felt comfortable sitting there with my coffee, watching the street. Nothing fancy, but it worked for me.

Stopped by for a cappuccino while doing some shopping. The coffee was properly made, not too hot, good crema. Pastry was fresh too, which I appreciated. Inside is pretty chill, easy to just sit for a bit. Only thing is the seating is a little cramped, but fine for a quick break.

The mushroom ravioli was honestly the highlight — big portion, I couldn’t finish it and they packed it up without any fuss. Nice for a casual dinner with friends, nothing fancy but solid. Maybe a bit quiet for a Friday night, but that’s fine if you want to actually talk 😄
