Stopped by for a quick lunch while in Ghent. Goat cheese salad was solid, easily one of the better ones I’ve had. Bitterballen and kroketten were decent too. Place is small but fine for a casual bite. Service was quick enough, no complaints. Good spot if you’re in the center and don’t want to overthink it.

The salmon and eggs were pretty good, decent portion for the price. Bread was a letdown though, chewy and tasted a day old. They took €6 off the bill without us asking, which was fair. Lychee-orange juice was nice, worth getting. Fine spot if you're nearby, just skip the toast.

The location is perfect, right on the main square with the church and town hall right there. I had the Liège meatballs and a local Paix-Dieu beer to go with them. The meatballs were really tasty, exactly what I needed after walking around. Service was friendly and let me take my time. A bit busy but I didn't mind.

Service was really nice, they were friendly and professional all night. Felt looked after without being overbearing.

Nice central spot, easy to find. Had the grilled salmon, it was cooked just right, not dry at all. Good for a quick, solid meal. The place was pretty busy though, a bit loud for my taste.

The chicken Norma burger was seriously good — fresh and packed with flavor. Staff were friendly too, though it took a bit to get the check.

Great spot right on the square for a casual drink with friends. We grabbed a table outside and people-watched for ages. The Aperol spritz was good, a bit pricey maybe, but the vibe was perfect for a lazy afternoon chat.

Been coming here for a while now, and the bagel burger still holds up. Queen Elizabeth is solid, maybe a touch salty, but the crisscut fries make up for it. Two sides with the burger is a nice deal too. Upstairs gets warm sometimes, but they crack the windows open. Fine by me.

Quiet spot inside the station, easy to miss. Coffee was solid and the waffle hit the spot while killing time before my train.

Stopped by for a coffee while walking through Ghent. The place is small, easy to miss, but the espresso was solid. Rich, no bitterness. Service was quick and polite. Didn't try the tea, but the menu looked decent. Fine spot if you're nearby and need a break. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The cinnamon rolls are still the reason I keep coming back. Warm, spiced just right, not too sweet. Tried the bread pudding last time too, solid.

Been coming here for years. The cinnamon roll is the star - warm, gooey, and just the right amount of spice. Perfect with a coffee on a lazy morning. The other pastries look tempting, but I always end up ordering the same thing.

Cozy little place in the center. Coffee was solid, and the homemade soup really hit the spot. Owner seemed nice too.

Cozy spot, decent coffee. Oat milk option is a plus. Waffle was alright, better with the chocolate sauce though.

Camille was super welcoming and helpful. The grilled octopus was spot on, tender and smoky. Already thinking about coming back for that.

The terrace really is the selling point here, especially when it's warm out. We had a nice bottle of Sancerre with our meal, which made the wait for the food a bit more bearable. It did take a while to get our order, but the staff stayed friendly about it. Would come back for that view alone.

Been coming here for a while now. Sunday brunch was busy but the food held up like always. That shakshuka still hits the spot.

Just stopped in for coffee. Really good brew. Could smell the fresh food cooking downstairs, made me hungry. Upstairs balcony is a nice little spot.

Vegan bagels were solid. Customized mine with avocado and sprouts. Oat milk latte was decent. Staff was chill about the whole thing.

The burgers are solid, and the terrace is where it’s at. The monkey decor is a fun touch, but the names on the menu made me smile more than the food did. It’s got that relaxed vibe, though the seating outside felt a bit cramped. Still, a decent spot if you’re in the area.

Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying for the steak. Dried steak was surprisingly tender, good flavor. Wine list is solid. Service was professional, not too chatty. Place is right inside the hotel, easy to find. Cocktails looked good too, didn't try one though. Maybe next time.

The marinated chicken skewers were incredibly tender, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. A lovely, healthy option.

The croissants were flaky, buttery, and still warm. The pain au chocolat had a generous amount of dark chocolate inside. That's what I came for. The view is nice, sure, but the pastries are the real star.

Lively spot, good for a chat. The vibe is nice. Had the steak frites, decent. But the wine list felt a bit limited for the price point. Found a decent red, but was hoping for more interesting options to pair with the food.

The fish and chips were really nice for a late lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, which made it a comfortable, easy meal.
