The goulash soup was spot on—rich, hearty, exactly what I needed. Draft beer paired well with it too. Portions are generous, service quick. Only wish they had one more wine option by the glass.

The banana cake here is seriously good—moist, not too sweet, just the right amount of dense. Cozy little spot, staff were friendly. Place was clean too, even had a kids' corner which I wasn't expecting. Would come back just for that cake again.

We've been coming here for years, mostly for the Kaiserschmarrn. It's fluffy, not too sweet, and big enough to share. The roast pork is solid too, crispy skin and all. Service is always friendly, even when the place is packed. The view from the beer garden is the real draw though. Just make sure you book a table on weekends, or you'll be waiting a while.

Stopped by for a coffee and a slice of cake. Prices are fair, cake was fresh. Sat outside, decent spot for a quick break. Service was fine, nothing fancy. If you're in the area and need a caffeine fix, it does the job.

Lovely little alpine hut with a proper view. The plum cake was really good and the place felt cozy enough to just sit for a while. Nice spot to catch your breath before the way back down.

Stopped here after a hike and grabbed a table outside. The view of the Alps foothills is really something. I had the schnitzel—pretty solid, not greasy. They brought out blankets when it got breezy, which I appreciated. Just wish the salad had a bit more dressing. But overall a nice spot to rest and eat.

The Chiemgau Card came in handy for a few discounted activities around the area. Nice little bonus, honestly. Weather was great, views were solid, and the food hit the spot everywhere we stopped. Nothing fancy, just good and straightforward. Maybe a bit busy at some spots, but that’s expected.

Been coming here for a while now, and the fish is still the reason I keep showing up. Cooked right every single time. Staff knows their stuff about gluten-free too, which helps since I have to watch that. Place gets busy, but they handle it fine. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Nice modern Alpine vibe, cozy but still stylish. Food was fresh and tasty, really well done. Free parking helped a lot. Staff friendly, though service slowed down a bit when it got busy.

Great service, wonderful food and a lovely and cool atmosphere. Had a great evening and can absolutely recommend this is you are looking for a calm place with great food.

Came back a second time just for those dumplings. They're honestly the reason I'd cross town for this place. Place was packed again, but whatever, the filling was spot on. Slightly greasy, but I didn't really care. Just wish they'd bring the next batch out a bit faster.

Cozy little place, staff knew the menu well and pointed me to something solid. Food had that homemade feel, no complaints there. Left happy.

The old-style decor is really charming, cozy spot for a break. Hot drinks hit the spot. Service felt a bit rushed but didn't ruin the vibe.

Decent spot for a drink and a bite. Veggie options were solid, and the lunch menu felt like way better value than dinner. My cocktail was fine, nothing crazy, but I'd come back for the lunch deal.

The pizza was solid and the tiramisu tasted fresh. Sat by the window watching the Christmas market lights while eating — that was the best part. Cozy enough to just hang around for a while. Good spot if you're in the area.

Came back twice during our stay. The schnitzel was huge and properly crispy. Staff spoke English, which helped a lot. Gets busy but we always found a table.

Stopped by for dinner, pasta was fresh, seafood one had a nice balance. Menu changes daily, that's a plus. Service was quick and friendly. Bill felt fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, just solid.

The cherry cheesecake was a bit dry, honestly. But the Nutella crepe hit the spot—solid 8/10. Simple place, no fuss, just decent sweets. I'd come back for that crepe alone.

Nice spot close to Hangar 7. Interior looks great. Lunch menu is short but the food was well done. Service efficient, no complaints.

The Thai curry had serious heat and depth. Ceviche was fresh, citrusy. Didn't care about the view, just kept eating.

Came in late and they were still serving. Pasta tasted properly fresh, and the portion was big enough for the price. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy.

The owner came by our table and talked about the building’s history for a bit. That alone made it feel like a proper local spot. Food was solid too, honestly the best we had during our time in Austria. Nothing fancy, just well done. Only thing is it got a little busy later, but that’s probably a good sign.

The smoked salmon and cheese plate was solid, bread fresh too. Rooftop view of the fortress is a nice bonus but honestly I'd come back just for the food.

Solid apple strudel. Warm, flaky, not too sweet. Only cash though, which caught me off guard. Had to run to the ATM around the corner. Dessert was worth the hassle, but just be prepared for that.

We hit this place five nights out of six. The daily menu changed enough to keep it interesting, and honestly, everything was solid. Even when it got busy, the staff stayed friendly. No complaints. Just good, dependable food that made the trip easier.

The schnitzel was huge. Crispy, not greasy, and the fried potatoes on the side were actually enough to fill you up. We sat outside, dog was fine, staff didn't mind. For what you get, the price felt fair. Maybe not the fanciest place, but you won't leave hungry.

Lovely little place in Bavaria. Braised ox cheek was really good, sat outside since the weather was nice. Owners seemed friendly too.

The beer garden is properly cozy, not too loud. Fried pike-perch was spot on, crispy outside and flaky inside. Service quick too. Prices fair for the portion.
