Food was fresh. Ordered prawn salad, chicken wrap, salmon wrap and Golfland burger and everything was fresh and tasted great.

Everything we tried was really good. Big portions and tasty. The veggie dim sums were delicious, some of the best of tried, from the beef, to the stir fry and curries, all was fresh and full of flavour. The waiter was vey nice too.

A beautiful relaxed setting to watch the sunset! We really enjoyed our meal: red sangria, grilled shrimp and calimari to start, sea bass, clams and frites, profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Very affordable too.

Always a delight to eat here. Fresh ingredients, no skimping on flavours and spices, brilliantly cooked and friendly, professional, efficient service.

Stopped here during the cliff walk and it was a nice break. Had the Camilo chicken, really well cooked, and oysters tasted fresh. Porto Tonic was good too. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Slightly pricey but the view made up for it. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but overall a pleasant stop.

The fish soup was proper, really rich flavour. Baked octopus came out tender, not chewy at all. Sat outside by the water, which made it better. Staff were friendly enough, though we did wait a bit between courses. Still, that soup alone is worth stopping for if you're passing through the village.

Gluten-free options in Lagos are usually a joke, but this place got it right. Had the chocolate mousse cake with mascarpone—actually safe and properly tasty. Owner was nice, place was clean. Just wish they had more than one dessert option, but I wasn't complaining after that slice.

Pizza's my usual go-to here, honestly. Staff are always friendly and service is quick enough for a casual catch-up with friends. 🍕

Mentes tapas bar serves fantastic Portuguese style tapas dishes. The service was super friendly and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and we were seated at a large table which was great so you had lots of space to share all the tasty tapas. The beef strips with pepper sauce, the melted goat cheese, the home made tacos and the garlic prawns were all fantastic. The flavors are nicely balanced and the portions are perfect for sharing. We completed our meal with an exquisite chocolate petit gateau and a tasty lemoncake with ice cream. The gateau was the best we have tasted in a while, in fact it was so good we ended up ordering another extra gateau. A special compliment for the manager, she really made us feel very welcome and ensured everything ran very smoothly during our thoroughly enjoyable evening. I would definitely recommend visiting Mentes tapas and we will be coming back again soon.

The pasta and lasagna were solid, and the sangria hit the spot. Staff actually remembered us from earlier in the week, which was nice. Good spot for a casual dinner.

Stopped by for a late lunch and the place was packed with locals—always a good sign. Had the grilled bacalhau, portion was generous. Pairing it with a glass of vinho verde worked well, cut through the saltiness nicely. Only heads-up: bring cash, they don't take cards. Service was a bit rushed but fine.

Stopped by for lunch — pizza oven was off, but the steak was solid. Place had a chill vibe, clearly a local favorite. Good quick bite.

The cataplana was loaded with fresh seafood, exactly what I needed. Lamb fell off the bone too. Place has that proper old-school vibe, nothing fancy but real.

We ended up eating here during a blackout and they still managed to serve pasta. Honestly impressive how calm the staff stayed. The place was dim but not in a bad way, candles everywhere. Food was simple but fine. Just glad we didn't have to wander around hungry in the dark.

Been coming here for a while now, and the food never lets me down. Last time we were four people, ordered a bunch of starters and mains, everything came out hot and tasty. Service was quick too, which I appreciate. Place gets busy but they handle it well. Solid spot if you know what you're looking for.

We’ve been coming here for years, and the food stays consistent. I usually order the grilled fish with vegetables—the fish was fresh, not overcooked. Portions are generous, and they even bring small tasters while you wait. The menu is huge, maybe too big, but it’s nice having options. Decor is a mix of modern and traditional, which works fine.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Got the piri-piri chicken pizza—decent kick, not too heavy. Order was ready fast, staff handled the rush fine. Nothing fancy, but it does the job if you're nearby and don't want to wait long. Fair for the price.

Best cappuccino I've had in Portugal, no joke. Coffee and milk finally balanced right. Cheesecake was solid too—creamy, firm, not too sweet. Quick stop, worth it.

The chicken was cooked just right and those homemade fries are seriously good. Simple menu, no fuss. Service was friendly too, though the place itself is pretty basic. Fine for a quick meal.

Came for the Sunday roast and it didn't disappoint. Braising steak was tender, plate piled high with all the trimmings. Booking ahead is a good idea though, place was packed. Decent portion for the price.

Lovely spot for a relaxed family meal. The playground keeps the kids busy while you wait for the food. Staff were attentive, and the food was well-prepared. We've been a few times now and it's always consistent.

The piri-piri chicken really hit the spot—juicy and full of flavor. The steak on the hot stone was a nice touch at the table.

The garlic prawns with rice were solid, really well seasoned. Goat cheese salad with those fried cheese wheels hit the spot too. Don't get the low reviews, our meal was good.

Grabbed a burger with fries and coffee for about 10 euros. Solid stuff, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Service was friendly enough. Place felt a bit cramped but whatever. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Came for the view, ended up chatting with Marlene about the wine list. She knew her stuff. Fish was fresh, and the glass of vinho verde paired nicely. Service like that makes you want to stick around.

Came for the live music and stayed longer than planned. Different band tonight, so it felt like a whole new place. Drinks were decent and the staff kept them coming without me having to wave anyone down. Cover was fair for what you get. Would go back on a night with a different act.

Been coming here for a while now. Staff still remembers my order, that's why I keep coming back. Good spot for regional stuff.

The lunch menu is a solid deal. Grilled sea bream came out really well, nice char on it. Place gets busy but that's part of the vibe.

Cozy spot for a birthday dinner. The interior feels properly Portuguese, staff were really attentive. Solid choice if you want something traditional without the tourist vibe.
