The grilled swordfish was spot on, not dry at all. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for anything. Prices are fair for what you get, portions are decent. Place was busy but we got a table right away. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

The margherita pizza was solid. Crust had a good chew, sauce was tangy enough. Not the best I've had in Lisbon, but it hit the spot for a quick lunch. Ate there last week and the pizza came out hot. That's really all I care about. Fine for what it is.

Picked the Indian hot spice level and it actually had a kick. Lamb shaslik was super tender, full of flavor. Good portion for the price.

The pizza was a hit with my friends, especially the margherita—so good we ordered another one. Cozy spot for a casual catch-up, though it got a bit loud later. 😊

Stopped here after the castle walk. Terrace was nice, caught a good breeze. Pizza came out thin and crispy, exactly how I like it. Staff didn't rush us at all. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

The steak platter for two was cooked just right, and the garden terrace made it feel more special. Staff left us alone until we needed them.

The fillet was spot on. So tender, barely needed the knife. Portion size caught me off guard, definitely more than I expected for the price. Just the steak though, that's what I came for and it delivered.

Loved the garlic prawns here, super fresh and tasty. The rustic vibe is nice for hanging out with friends. Prices felt fair for what you get.

The vegan cataplana with tofu was surprisingly rich — didn’t miss the seafood at all. Service stayed attentive but never hovered. Nice spot.

Grilled fish was spot on, fresh and cooked just right. Sat right by the beach, which made it even better. Service was friendly enough.

Been coming here for years, still solid. The butter chicken and garlic naan are my usual order, never disappoints. They even warm the plates, nice touch. Prices are fair for the portion you get, especially in this area. Gets busy on weekends, so come early if you want a quiet table.

The Asian peanut salad was so fresh and the caponata had real flavor. Service was quick too. Only thing is the lighting inside is a bit dim, but honestly the food makes up for it 😊

The terrace was the highlight for me—quiet, green, and you can actually hear yourself think. Garlic prawns were spot on, and the piri piri chicken had that proper charred kick. Paired mine with a glass of vinho verde, worked a treat. Prices fair for what you get. Service was quick too, though the place filled up by 8.

Tasting menu for two was plenty — we left stuffed. The little tins they sell are nicely packaged, grabbed a few on the way out. Solid spot.

The piri piri chicken was properly spicy, juicy, not dry at all. Portion size caught me off guard though - half chicken was plenty for two, honestly. Could've easily shared one plate and saved some money. The almond cake after was nice but I'd skip it next time, just stick to the chicken.

Stopped by for lunch and the place felt really laid-back. Mostly locals, a few tourists like me. Had the grilled fish — simple but good. Service was chill, not rushed. Nice break from the fancier spots around here. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

We had read that this was a great fish restaurant and we weren’t disappointed. We had the clams which were fantastic big and juicy! The fish soup was souper tasty and full of fish and flavour. We finished off with the tuna (2 large pieces each) which was perfectly cooked somewhat al dente but all the better for it, it came with sweet potato and potato fries the best I’ve had in years. The Blu thing to remember is to take cash as the card reader wasn’t working or at least check before ordering.

Shared the meal for two with a friend and added a few happy hour beers — bill came out way lower than expected. Staff were nice too. Solid spot if you're watching your spending.

Great seafood, friendly service. A little bit out of the city centre, but definitely worth walking the extra kilometer!

Mentes tapas bar serves fantastic Portuguese style tapas dishes. The service was super friendly and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and we were seated at a large table which was great so you had lots of space to share all the tasty tapas. The beef strips with pepper sauce, the melted goat cheese, the home made tacos and the garlic prawns were all fantastic. The flavors are nicely balanced and the portions are perfect for sharing. We completed our meal with an exquisite chocolate petit gateau and a tasty lemoncake with ice cream. The gateau was the best we have tasted in a while, in fact it was so good we ended up ordering another extra gateau. A special compliment for the manager, she really made us feel very welcome and ensured everything ran very smoothly during our thoroughly enjoyable evening. I would definitely recommend visiting Mentes tapas and we will be coming back again soon.

The pasta and lasagna were solid, and the sangria hit the spot. Staff actually remembered us from earlier in the week, which was nice. Good spot for a casual dinner.

Stopped by for a late lunch and the place was packed with locals—always a good sign. Had the grilled bacalhau, portion was generous. Pairing it with a glass of vinho verde worked well, cut through the saltiness nicely. Only heads-up: bring cash, they don't take cards. Service was a bit rushed but fine.

Stopped by for lunch — pizza oven was off, but the steak was solid. Place had a chill vibe, clearly a local favorite. Good quick bite.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the kebab — honestly the best thing I ate in Portugal. Meat was juicy, not dried out like you see in a lot of places. Seafood looked fresh too, though I didn't try it. Prices are decent for the quality. Service was quick enough, no complaints.

The cataplana was loaded with fresh seafood, exactly what I needed. Lamb fell off the bone too. Place has that proper old-school vibe, nothing fancy but real.

We ended up eating here during a blackout and they still managed to serve pasta. Honestly impressive how calm the staff stayed. The place was dim but not in a bad way, candles everywhere. Food was simple but fine. Just glad we didn't have to wander around hungry in the dark.

Great spot for a relaxed family dinner. The staff were patient with our young kids, and the food was delicious. Wine list had good options too.

Been coming here for a while now, and the food never lets me down. Last time we were four people, ordered a bunch of starters and mains, everything came out hot and tasty. Service was quick too, which I appreciate. Place gets busy but they handle it well. Solid spot if you know what you're looking for.

We’ve been coming here for years, and the food stays consistent. I usually order the grilled fish with vegetables—the fish was fresh, not overcooked. Portions are generous, and they even bring small tasters while you wait. The menu is huge, maybe too big, but it’s nice having options. Decor is a mix of modern and traditional, which works fine.

Solid Dover sole, cooked right. Price was fair for what you got. Oysters were a good starter. Right by the beach, easy to find. Service was quick enough for a lunch stop.
