Pizza was solid. Crust crispy, toppings fresh, one of the better ones I've had in Freiburg. Price matched the quality, no complaints there. Service was efficient, got in and out during lunch without waiting long. If you're in the area and want a decent pie without the fuss, this works.

We popped in for a quick dinner and honestly, the schnitzel was the star. Huge portion, crispy, exactly what I needed after a long day. The place has that proper old-school vibe, nothing fancy but cozy. Staff were super nice even though my German is basically non-existent. Only thing, it got a bit loud later. Still, solid spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Nice little Biergarten, green and pretty quiet. Food was solid, nothing crazy but good enough. Spent a few hours there without even noticing. Parking's a bit of a pain though, had to circle around. Wouldn't mind coming back on a sunny day.

Fresh food and fair prices for being right in the city center. The vegetarian options were a nice surprise, and the staff actually knew their menu. Had a decent glass of wine with it, nothing fancy but paired well enough.

The terrace was lovely, sat there for a good while. QR code ordering is handy, no fuss. Had the grilled fish, fresh and plated nicely. Prices felt fair for what you get. Paired it with a crisp white wine, went well with the dish. Service was a bit slow between courses, but nothing to complain about really.

The restaurant inside the hotel turned out to be a real find. We almost skipped it for a fancier spot nearby, glad we didn't. The room is so calm, nicely decorated. Staff were genuinely friendly, not that fake kind. Food was solid, really well done. Just a lovely, easy evening. Maybe slightly quiet for some, but I liked that.

Food was solid, well presented, flavors on point. Service efficient, no complaints. A bit pricey for the portion size, but overall a decent spot for a business dinner.

The staff really helped us figure out what was safe with my allergies. Dorade was lovely, gyros in mushroom sauce a bit heavy for me. Back terrace is nice, just some flies around.

The brunch spread is solid for what you pay. Lots of options and everything tasted fresh. Good spot if you want a filling meal without breaking the bank.

Cozy little family place. The pasta was fresh and the pizza came out perfectly baked. Staff actually seemed to care. Just wish it wasn't so crowded.

The rodizio service was great—meat kept coming to the table, all juicy and tasty. Buffet had plenty of options too.

Pizza was solid - crispy crust, toppings on point. Tried the tortellini in brodo too, just okay. Stick with the pizza and you're good.

We booked the Altes Winzerstüble for a group of 20 and honestly, the Badischer Sauerbraten was the highlight. Portion was generous for the price, which surprised me. Service kept up with our big table without us having to chase anyone down. Only thing, it got a bit loud once the room filled up. But for what we paid, I left full and satisfied.

Came here twice with 8 people, they handled the big table really well. Cordon Bleu was solid, pizza was massive. Good spot if you're in a group.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Got the schnitzel, pretty solid. The place was quiet, easy to talk. Staff were nice, didn't rush us. The lunch menu is decent for the price, not huge portions but fine. Good spot if you're in Balingen and want a simple meal. Maybe call ahead, it filled up later.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and slice of Black Forest cake. Place was busy but the line moved fast. Cake was fresh, not too sweet. Good spot if you need a sugar fix and don't want to wait around. Prices are okay for what you get.

Came back for the Argentine pepper steak again. Second time in three days. Meat was cooked right, pepper sauce had a proper kick. Owner remembered me, which was nice. Place was busy but I still got my food quick. Solid lunch spot if you're in the area.

We booked a table for our team dinner and everything ran pretty smoothly. The food was solid, especially the grilled fish. Our server checked in on us a few times, which I appreciated. Only small thing, the place got a bit loud once it filled up. But for a group thing, it worked well.

Solid Italian spot near Münsterplatz. Minestrone and carbonara were on point, bolognese decent.

The pork knuckle was the only thing I cared about. Crispy skin, tender meat, proper mustard on the side. That's it. Portion was generous. Didn't pay attention to the history or the family running it. Just ate. Maybe a bit touristy but the food did the talking.

The cake counter had a good selection and the slices were pretty generous. I tried the pistachio buttercream cake - decent, not too sweet. Fine for a quick coffee stop.

The burrata with Parma ham was spot on—creamy, salty, just right. Beef tenderloin came exactly medium rare as asked. Tomahawk though, bit overpriced for what you get. Stick to the simpler stuff.

The burger patty tasted like it was actually hand-formed, not some frozen thing. That alone made it worth stopping in. I got the salad on the side, which balanced it out nicely. Quick service too, no waiting around. For what you pay, it feels fair. Just wish the fries had been a bit hotter.

The interior is really charming, very traditional. Trout was fresh, but honestly a bit underseasoned. Staff kind, no complaints there. Just wish they’d been a little bolder with the salt. Nice spot though, I’d come back for the atmosphere alone.

Service is hit or miss here. One visit the staff was super friendly and quick, next time they seemed totally overwhelmed and we waited forever for the bill. Not the most consistent place, but the food made up for it. Portions were decent for what we paid, so I can't complain too much. Just go in knowing you might wait a bit.

The outdoor seating area is really nice, especially when the weather cooperates. Service was on point, no complaints there. I had the sour liver and it was properly done, tangy and tender. My friend's schnitzel though came out a bit undercooked on one side, which was a letdown since everything else seemed well handled. Still, I'd come back for the liver.

Came here on a random weeknight and the place was pretty chill. The dining room’s been redone and it feels fresh, not stuffy. We asked about off-menu stuff and got the Tomahawk steak — huge, easily for two. Cooked properly, good char. Pricey though, no doubt. But for that cut, I get it. Service was on point without hovering.

It is on the min street and has an outdoor terrace with flowers. It is restaurant as well as a guesthouse and has an inviting aspect. The prices are reasonable.

Stopped by for lunch and ended up really liking the mix of German and Middle Eastern dishes. Menu’s small but the flavors were fresh. Staff was friendly, didn’t rush us at all. Wish I lived closer, honestly.
