Lunch deal is solid. Soup, main, dessert for under 21 francs. Food tastes fresh, homemade. Portions big enough that I skipped dinner after. Good spot if you're in Basel and don't wanna overthink it.

The food was solid and honestly priced for what you get. Authentic flavours, no fuss. Staff were friendly without hovering.

Food came out fast even with our big group, which surprised me. The grilled fish was fresh, nicely seasoned. Service kept things moving without hovering. Solid spot if you're feeding a crowd.

The lunch buffet here is a solid pick—four rotating dishes, and that spicy Thai basil chicken really stands out if you can handle the heat. I’m picky about seating, and the tables were comfortable enough to actually relax. Service was friendly without hovering. Just wish they’d refill the water a bit faster, but honestly, it didn’t ruin anything.

The hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls hit the spot on a cold afternoon. Upstairs seating is cozy enough, though it gets a bit noisy. Service was quick and friendly.

Came here with a few friends on a random weekday night. We ordered a bunch of stuff to share—the food was really tasty, especially the [dish name if known, otherwise skip]. Service was super attentive without being annoying. Only thing is it got a bit loud later, but honestly we were making noise too 😅 Solid spot for hanging out.

Came here with a couple of friends last week and honestly the terrace is the main reason I’d go back. Super chill vibe, not too crowded on a weekday afternoon. Beer list is solid too, we tried a few local ones. Service was friendly but a bit slow when it got busier. Still, perfect spot for a lazy catch-up 😊

The wine list here is thoughtful—our bottle paired beautifully with the tasting menu. Simone's team poured generously and knew their stuff. Rotating menu keeps it interesting, though the space gets a bit loud when it's full.

Solid yufka, well stuffed. Price is normal for the area. Good spot if you're in a hurry.

Coffee's still great — smooth, rich, one of the better cups I've had in Freiburg. Barista knew what they were doing. No complaints.

I had an amazing experience with the service at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable.

Stopped in for a flat white and ended up staying longer than planned. Coffee was solid, and the banana bread came out thick-cut and still warm. Place is small but that's part of the charm. Only wish they had a proper wine list for the evening crowd. Nice spot if you're passing through.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed their salad—really fresh, you can tell it’s homemade. Place feels cozy, not too crowded. Staff was nice, didn’t rush me at all. Only thing, portion was a bit small for the price. But fine for a light bite.

The courtyard garden is lovely, so calm and green. Plenty of veggie options, even vegan milk for coffee. Just a really cozy spot to sit and relax.

The Bircher muesli here is still as good as the first time I came. Service stays friendly too. Seats are a bit worn, but that doesn't really bother me.

Cozy little place with a nice oriental touch. We grabbed dinner with friends and the service was super friendly. Food came out tasty, though it took a bit longer than expected. Still a solid pick for a chill hangout 😊

The Sunday brunch here is solid. Lots of homemade stuff, you can tell they put effort into it. Place was pretty welcoming too. Only thing is it gets packed fast, so book ahead if you can. I showed up without a reservation and barely got a table. Would come back for the food though.

We‘ve eaten there several times and enjoy the food presentation, flavor and overall atmosphere. We‘ve eaten different dishes on each visit and both were excellent.

Been coming here for a while now, and the coffee stays consistent. That's honestly the main thing for me. Interior's still clean, those wooden tables are a nice touch. Sat outside last time, weather was good. Just a solid spot for a quick break, nothing fancy.

Portofino offers a cozy and elegant atmosphere, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff ready to assist with menu selections.

Food’s good, no question. But man, the bill adds up quick. We had the pasta and a salad, nothing fancy, and it felt steep for what you get. Quality’s there though, so if you’re okay splurging a bit, it works. Just don’t come here expecting a cheap lunch.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Service was friendly and fast, no complaints there. Food was okay, pretty standard stuff. The poppyseed cake though, that was the highlight. Nice little finish to the meal. Nothing crazy but it did the job for a casual stop.

Food's decent, no complaints there. But honestly, the portions felt a bit small for what we paid. I get that places have to raise prices, but I left still a little hungry. It's a solid spot if you're not starving, but I'd probably grab a snack before coming. Good for a quick bite, not for a big appetite.

Nice sunny terrace, and the service was quick. Pizza came out fast, which I always appreciate. Had a glass of their house red with it—nothing fancy, but it did the job. Solid spot if you just want a relaxed outdoor meal without overthinking it. Maybe not the most memorable pizza in town, but fine for what it is.

we were there yesterday at a wedding with around 140 guests. The food was delicious but pricy. The menu was Vitello Tonnato.with Antipasti (photo 2), Veal steak with vegetables and potato’s (photo 3)The building is right at the Rhine river and the view is great!

Decent Italian place, family-run vibe. We had the bruschetta and caprese salad, both fresh enough. The Jagerschnitzle was pretty good, portion was generous. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a casual dinner. Maybe slightly busy when we were there, but fine overall.

The cordon bleu with Black Forest ham and Münsterthal cheese was really good. Crunchy outside, cheese still melting inside. Service was friendly too. Prices are a bit steep for what you get, but I'd say it's fine for a proper sit-down meal. Nothing fancy, just solid cooking.

The food was really good, fresh ingredients and well prepared. I appreciated how comfortable the seats were, made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

Set lunch for 27 CHF. Salad was fresh, fish cooked properly. Portions a bit small though. Service moved fast, almost too fast. Fine if you're in a hurry and just need a decent bite.
