The crust on the pizza was really something—thin, slightly charred, and just the right chew. Toppings tasted fresh, not like they'd been sitting around. Prices are on the higher side, but you can tell they're using good stuff. I'd come back for that crust alone. Maybe not every week, but for a treat, sure.

Been here a few times now and the Indian food in Basel is consistently solid. Flavors are always right, not too heavy. Only thing is peak hours get really busy, so expect to wait a bit. Worth it though if you're not in a rush.

Came here with a few friends on a weekday night. The outdoor seating was nice, not too loud. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share—the pasta was decent, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for the price. Wine was fine, nothing special. Service took a while to get our bill, but it wasn't a huge deal. Would go back if someone else picks the place.

The cordon bleu here is seriously massive. Like, biggest I've ever seen. The raclette inside keeps it so juicy though, even with that size. Kind of a fun, hearty pick for a casual dinner. Just wish I'd brought a bigger appetite.

The Mango Lamb is still my go-to here. Tried the Ghost Kastoori last time too, both were solid. Menu's been pretty consistent every visit.

We sat by the river, which was nice. Had the smoked trout salad and pasta — both were pretty good. Service was fine, no complaints. Prices are normal for Basel. Decent spot if you want a relaxed meal without fuss. Maybe not a destination place, but it worked for us.

A 10 is a little high, as it is also a bit expensive, but the food was good, the portions were generous, the service was attentive, even if I think it took about an hour from ordering until we received the mains, but there were no mistakes and it was easy to get the server's attention, and the atmosphere was nice. 2 in our group had the ribs, which were really tender. We also had a steak, duck and a hamburger and all were very good. There was no room for dessert!

The lunch menu here is solid. I got the set deal and honestly, for the portion size, the price felt right. Not a huge fancy spot, but the food was cooked well and I left full. Would come back on a weekday when I want something reliable without spending too much.

The tom yum goong was spot on, though we still waited a bit despite booking. A crisp white helped cut through that heat nicely.

The grilled octopus was the only thing I cared about. Cooked properly, charred on the edges, soft inside. The lemon-potato puree underneath soaked up the olive oil nicely. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but the flavor made up for it. I'd order that again and skip everything else.

The cordon bleu was solid—crispy outside, juicy inside. Tried the truffle cheese version, nice twist. Portions are big, definitely enough for two.

The octopus was the highlight—cooked just right, tender without being chewy. Place gets loud though, so don’t come here expecting a quiet conversation. Tapas are good but prices add up fast. Fine for a casual dinner if you’re in the area, just don’t make it your first choice for a business meet.

The food was really good—we had the schnitzel and it came out hot and crispy. Place itself feels a bit tired though, could use some new chairs and maybe a coat of paint. But honestly, the quality of what's on the plate made up for the worn-out look. I'd come back for that.

Lovely spot for a quiet Sunday dinner. The booths are really comfortable and the staff is so friendly. Had the roast chicken, which was nice and simple. Just a very relaxed meal, no fuss at all.

Service was friendly, no complaints there. Place had a nice vibe too. I grabbed the venison schnitzel and it was pretty solid. Fresh ingredients, you could tell. Good spot for a quick lunch if you're in the area. Not fancy, but it does the job.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Steak was cooked properly, no complaints there. Nice spot up above the city, view helps. Wine list is solid too. Service was friendly, didn't have to wait long for the food. Good if you want a decent bite without the fuss.

Service was quick, even for a self-service spot. One cashier really helped sort out a lost delivery order from a third-party app glitch—went out of her way. Didn't have to, but she did. I grabbed a glass of the house red while waiting, decent enough for the price. Solid stop if you're in the area.

Lunch menu’s solid for the price. Basel isn’t cheap, so this felt fair. Food was decent, nothing crazy but consistent. Good spot if you’re nearby and hungry.

The food was tasty and portions are generous, but service dragged a bit during the rush. Liked the mix of old and new in the decor.

Came here with a couple of friends on a weekday evening. Place is tucked away in a residential street, mostly locals which I liked. We shared a few dishes, all pretty solid. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us at all. Only thing, it got a bit warm inside when it filled up. Fine for a casual catch-up though 👍

Ordered the mixed platter for two - oxtail croquettes were the highlight. Portion size was right, food came out properly seasoned. Service was efficient, no complaints. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Friendly staff for sure, and the vibe is relaxed even when it’s packed at lunch. They kept things moving fast, so no stress. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable.

The Masala Dosa here is solid—CHF 9.50 with sambar and chutney, pretty fair for Basel. They've got idli and vada all day too. Staff was friendly, didn't have to wait long.

Lovely rustic-modern vibe with a fireplace – really cozy. The wine pairing was spot on, and honestly the price felt fair for what you get.

We stopped in after seeing the cathedral, and it was a decent pick. I had the lamb fillet, cooked just right, and the vegetarian penne had good flavor. Our waiter was friendly, cracked a few jokes that made things feel easy. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Maybe a bit busy around midday, but we didn't have to wait long.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Summer bowl was fresh, looked nice on the plate. Staff spoke English, which helped. Menu's got enough options. Place was decent, nothing crazy. Fine if you're in the area and want something light.

The handwritten menu is a nice touch, kinda rare these days. Started with the burrata, really fresh. Tiramisu was the right call to finish, not too sweet. Place was pretty busy for a Tuesday but service kept up fine. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The staff here are what I remember most. The owner actually came by our table, and the Brazilian waiter was super patient with all our questions. They handled a small request without any fuss. Felt genuinely looked after, not just rushed through. Place was busy but they kept it chill. Solid spot.

Everything’s cooked fresh so you’ll wait a little, but honestly the salmon with risotto was worth it. Fish soup was hearty too, hit the spot on a cold day. Just remember they’re shut Sundays and Mondays, and it’s cash only. The seating’s a bit tight but I didn’t mind much.
