The cream tomato soup was thick and hot, really tasty. Pizzas are big and cooked well. Place gets busy though, so book a table beforehand.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the fried herring — really fresh, not oily at all. The cod in white wine sauce was decent too. Loved that they bring bread with lard on the side, kinda old-school but tasty. Place is small and cozy, feels very traditional. Service was a bit slow but fine.

Fresh pasta was really good, especially the truffle one. Prices fair for the quality. Place was a bit loud but still fine for a quick dinner.

The garden seating is genuinely lovely—one of those spots where you forget you're in the city. Food was decent, nothing more. For what they charge, I'd expect a bit more finesse. Also, they only take cash, which caught me off guard. A nice enough glass of wine with the meal, though. Fine for a casual stop, just don't expect anything fancy.

The 1930s decor and music really set the scene. My schnitzel with asparagus was solid, and the price felt fair for what you got. Would've liked a better wine list to match the old-school charm, though.

The starters and desserts were solid, but the mains were a bit hit or miss. My fish came out over-salted, which was a letdown. The place itself is nice, and service was friendly enough. I’d probably come back for a starter and dessert, but I’d skip the main course next time.

Food was really good, staff friendly too. Only thing that bugged me was the WiFi not working properly. But honestly, the meal made up for it.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The view over the Trave is really nice, and the eggnog was rich without being too sweet. Place has a relaxed feel, not crowded when I was there. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Decent spot if you want to sit by the river for a bit.

The tuna pizza was a solid pick — big portion, actually filling. Lasagna came out hot and cheesy, no complaints there. Staff kept coming by to see if we needed anything, which was nice but almost too much. For what you get on the plate, the price felt fair. I'd go back if I'm hungry and in the area.

Stopped by this place inside the castle—such a cool setting, honestly. We grabbed a table with friends and the vibe was super cozy. Food was tasty, but portions? Kind of small for what you pay. Fine for a light bite, not if you're starving. 😅

Good veggie selection, not just the usual salad. Tried a few dishes and they were solid. Service was chill, no rush.

Stopped in for coffee and cake. The sea buckthorn torte was really good, coffee nice and strong. Prices felt fair for what you get. The seating was comfortable enough that we didn't feel rushed. Just a solid spot to take a break.

The pike-perch was spot on, and the salad had that fresh, clean bite. Would've loved a better wine pairing suggestion to go with it, though.

The vegan duck was properly crispy, not dry at all. Even as a longtime veggie, I was impressed. Family liked their dishes too. Service did its job without hovering.

Stopped by for a latte and a slice of homemade cake. Coffee was solid, cake fresh. Quiet spot with some reading material if you want to kill time. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Prices fair for what you get. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up trying the ice cream puff with fresh strawberries. That thing was solid. The portion felt fair for what you pay, not one of those tiny overpriced desserts. Coffee was fine, nothing fancy, but the puff alone makes it worth a stop if you're nearby.

The tea blend was really something special, and the vegan cake tasted freshly made. Just wish I'd known about the cash-only policy before ordering.

We keep coming back here. Staff remembers us, which is nice. Even when it's packed, it never feels chaotic. Had the schnitzel again, still solid. Portion was decent for the price. Not the most exciting place in the world, but it does what it does well. Good for a no-fuss dinner.

The gorgonzola fettuccine was the highlight for me—creamy but not too heavy, and the pasta was cooked just right. My friend’s steak with fried potatoes looked solid too, though I didn’t try it. Guinness was properly cold and fresh. Place was a bit busy but fine.

Great spot right in the center — super easy to pop in for a quick drink. Location is honestly the main draw here.

The staff reopened the kitchen for us after closing time and still cooked a proper meal. Pizza was decent, not too greasy, toppings generous. Kind people.

Even the takeaway was handled nicely. Packed well and ready in about 20 minutes. Friendly greeting too, plus a fortune cookie. 👍

Spaghetti bolognese was solid. Sauce had good flavor, pasta cooked right. Prices are fair for the portion you get. Service kept it moving, no long waits. Place was busy but I got my food quick. Good spot if you need a dependable lunch without fuss.

Decent spot. The staff were friendly and the place felt clean, which I appreciated. Food was fine, nothing mind-blowing but solid.

Came here for a late lunch after walking around the harbor. Fish was fresh, cooked properly. Portions decent for the price. Service quick, no complaints. Place was busy but we got a table by the window. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something simple.

The fish sandwich here is legit. Fresh bun, decent piece of fish, not drowning in sauce. You can watch the big container ships roll past while you eat. That's about it. Portion was fine for the price. I'd grab it again if I'm in the area.
