I'm really into their tom yum soup. The broth is so fragrant and clear. You can taste the freshness of the lemongrass and lime leaves. It's a nice balance, not too heavy.

The Hailam noodles had a nice, springy texture. Came with decent portions of chicken and prawns. Owner said they get the noodles from Sepang, which was a nice touch. A solid choice for lunch.

The portions here are really generous for what you pay. I had the grilled chicken, and it was more than enough for me. The seating was quite comfortable too, which made for a relaxed meal.

Roast chicken was spot on, tender and juicy. The gravy really is magic, so good with the mash. Classic done right, no surprises.

Came for the ramen, but the unagi fried rice stole the show. Perfectly seasoned. The karaage was juicy too. Paired it with a local craft lager, which cut through the richness nicely. A solid spot for a casual meal.

The mee goreng and nasi with veggies and fish egg were fresh and crispy. But honestly, for the price you pay at a buffet, I was expecting bigger portions from each station. Felt a bit short-changed on that.

The Ipoh hor fun was good, just a simple bowl but really hit the spot. The broth had a nice, clean flavour. Prices are fair for what you get.

The herbal soup was the standout. Not too salty, just a really nice depth of flavour. I could taste the herbs clearly, which I loved. A very comforting bowl.

The weekend pan mee in curry soup is a good deal. The fried dumpling curry was the highlight for me. Service was friendly and prompt, which made for a relaxed lunch.

The menu here marks spicy and non-spicy dishes clearly. That's the main thing for me. It meant I could just focus on the food itself and not have to ask a bunch of questions. Ordered the mapo tofu, which was marked with two chilies. The heat level was exactly as advertised. Made ordering for the table straightforward.

The Yong Tau Fu here is a family favorite. I really appreciate the wide variety of fresh ingredients you can choose from. The fish paste filling is particularly good – it's fresh and doesn't have that strong fishy taste at all.

Food's good, especially the pizza and croissants. Ingredients taste fresh. Coffee's solid. My only gripe is the wine list – it's a bit limited. Found a decent red to go with the pizza, but would've liked more options.

The nasi with ayam rempah was really good. The chicken was tender and the spices were just right, not too heavy. I could tell they took their time with it. The pulut kuning with curry ayam looked nice at the next table, maybe I'll try that next time.
