Roast chicken was spot on, tender and juicy. The gravy really is magic, so good with the mash. Classic done right, no surprises.

The mee goreng and nasi with veggies and fish egg were fresh and crispy. But honestly, for the price you pay at a buffet, I was expecting bigger portions from each station. Felt a bit short-changed on that.

The Ipoh hor fun was good, just a simple bowl but really hit the spot. The broth had a nice, clean flavour. Prices are fair for what you get.

The menu here marks spicy and non-spicy dishes clearly. That's the main thing for me. It meant I could just focus on the food itself and not have to ask a bunch of questions. Ordered the mapo tofu, which was marked with two chilies. The heat level was exactly as advertised. Made ordering for the table straightforward.

Got a table on a busy Sunday without booking, which was nice. You order and pay online with the table QR code. Food came in about 20 minutes. Portions are generous for the price, pretty good.

Tried both the deep-fried siakap with Thai chilies and the soy sauce version. The chili one was better, crispy and flavourful. Prices are fair for the portion. Parking is easy at night, which is a plus.

Sarawak noodles were fresh and tasty. The menu had a lot of tempting options, which made it hard to choose! The place itself is bright and airy, with lots of natural light. Felt really relaxed just sitting there.

Been coming here for years. The fried fish is still the best around, crispy outside and flaky inside. Portions are decent, prices fair.

Been here a few times. It's halal Japanese, which is convenient for the area. The place is comfortable, not too cramped. Prices are okay for what you get. Had the chicken katsu don last visit, it was decent.

Been coming here for years. Their curry noodles are always just right, not too heavy.

The steak here is actually pretty good for a halal spot, and the price is decent. Nice for a casual dinner with friends.

Cozy spot with relaxing music. Ended up working here for 3 hours, which I didn't plan. The atmosphere is comfortable, good for focusing. Coffee was decent, refills were prompt.
