Been here a few times. Staff are always polite and quick. Food comes out fast, which is nice when you're just grabbing a bite. They remember regulars, makes it feel like a local spot.

The Sansai Wariko set was my favorite. Three little bowls, each with a different topping like grated yam and a quail egg. It's a fun, tasty way to try the soba. The simple wooden bowls and the quiet counter seating made it feel really peaceful.

The five-color soba is my go-to. The tempura's always crispy, and that soft-boiled egg is just right. Keeps me coming back.

Just had their amber agar jelly. The texture is a bit like a soft, delicate gummy. It's a nice little treat if you're into that sort of thing. The seating area is cozy for a quick break.

The staff were really nice and stayed open a bit later for us, which was so appreciated. They were attentive without being overbearing during our whole meal.

Interesting fish selection. Butterfish and threadfin bream you don't see often. The fatty yellowtail was the highlight.

Nice to see non-sushi options like roast beef udon here. A solid choice for groups with different tastes.

Grilled the eel fresh, so there's a wait. Gave them my plate number and chilled in the car. Took maybe 15 minutes? Unagi was perfectly crisp and hot. Exactly what I needed for a quick, quality lunch.

The crab tasting menu was stunning. Each plate looked like art. The grilled crab had a lovely smoky flavor, and the clay pot rice at the end was so comforting. A really thoughtful sequence.

I had a delightful experience at the cake buffet, where the selection of cakes and side dishes was excellent. It was a fun outing, and I highly recommend it for dessert lovers!

The staff was really friendly and efficient even during the busy dinner rush. They made sure our water glasses were always full and checked in at just the right moments. It felt like a very attentive service without being overbearing.

The second floor cafe has a great view of the city. It's a nice, quiet spot for their afternoon tea set.

The kamaage soba here is served in its hot cooking water. The whole setup feels so rustic and authentic, I really liked the vibe.

Cozy spot near the castle. The clam ramen broth was the highlight for me. You can really taste the freshness of the clams, which made it feel light and healthy. A nice change from heavier tonkotsu.

The oden was the standout. Broth had depth, and the daikon was perfectly tender. Sashimi was fresh, but the fried rice felt a bit plain. A solid, comforting meal.

Fresh ingredients, simple preparation. The owner's dedication shows in the details. Tried the grilled fish and seasonal vegetables. Good for a quiet business lunch. Portions are reasonable for the price.

Good location for tourists, but the turnover is quick. We got a table fast even though it was packed. Food came out pretty quickly too, which was nice.

Right next to the shrine, super convenient. The tonkatsu set was the main thing. The pork cutlet was thick and juicy, with a really crisp breading that didn't get soggy. The cabbage salad on the side was fresh and had a nice, light dressing. Portion was good for the price, especially for this area.

The soft serve shaped like a sacred rope by the shrine gate is really unique. The hojicha flavor was deep and not too sweet. The matcha was good too, but I liked the hojicha more. A nice little treat after visiting the shrine.

A short walk from the main shrine. Tried the wariko soba in small bowls. Unique way to eat. Soba itself was good, texture was right. A solid local option for the area.

The tasting menu was subtle, each dish really let the ingredients shine. The drink pairings were thoughtful, not just an afterthought. Honestly, for the price, it felt like a good deal.

Right by the station, super handy. The staff really know their stuff, explained the dishes well. Tried the sake tasting set, good way to try local stuff. A solid choice for a quick, no-fuss meal.

Been coming here for years, and their French toast is the reason. Always crispy outside, fluffy inside. They get the maple syrup and cinnamon just right every time. It’s my go-to for a sweet breakfast.

The owner was super nice, really made us feel welcome. I liked the cozy vibe with the wooden tables and soft lighting, it felt relaxed. The pasta was good too.

Loved the cozy, traditional vibe here. It felt like stepping into a little piece of Japan. The place was spotless and had such a warm, authentic feel to it. Just a really nice spot to unwind.

Private rooms are a nice option for groups. The one we had was spacious, felt comfortable for a longer dinner. It's quiet enough to actually hear everyone talk, which is a plus. Good for a celebration with friends.

The cozy, local vibe here is just right. Not just for office crowds, but a nice mix of solo diners and families too. Felt very relaxed.
