The tempura soba was solid. The shrimp was fried fresh, which was nice. The broth had a good flavor, a bit on the sweet side but in a pleasant way.

Old-school spot by the onsen. Got the pork cutlet rice on a silver plate. Demi-glace sauce was thick and savory. Clam miso soup was good too. Felt like stepping back in time.

This hidden gem serves exquisite course meals that are well worth the price. The combination of fresh, seasonal vegetables and expertly cooked meats made for a memorable meal.

The oden here is the real deal. The daikon was simmered perfectly, soaked in the broth. The broth itself had a deep, clean flavor, not too salty. That's what I come for.

The soba broth was just right, not too salty. They gave a nice selection of condiments to mix in. But for the price, I was hoping for a slightly bigger portion of noodles. It felt a bit light for the cost.

Daily set meal is a solid lunch option. Around 1000 yen gets you a main, a couple sides, and miso soup. Fills you up quick. Good for a fast, no-fuss meal.

Tried their smoked fish platter. The mackerel was good, but the firefly squid was the star for me. Just the right amount of smoke, not overpowering. A solid choice.
