Don't judge by the outside! The portions here are massive, honestly. We ordered the lamb shank and a pasta, couldn't finish either. They boxed it up for us without any fuss. Good for a hearty meal.

The crab croquettes were the star. So fresh, the flavour just pops. The rest of the tapas we tried were solid, but those little guys... they've got my heart. A lovely little spot for sharing plates.

No reservation, but they squeezed us in at the bar. The cocktails were pretty good, and the food was worth the short wait. A decent spot for a casual evening out.

The owner was so friendly and chatted with our table, made it feel like a proper catch-up spot. Service was spot on.

Been coming here for years, and the recent refurb is lovely. Still the same cosy spot by the fire for a Sunday roast. That’s what keeps me coming back.

A proper local pub, lovely and warm. The staff and the regulars make you feel right at home. Found a great pint of bitter that went down a treat. Just what you need after a long day.

Ate here last night with a few mates. The food is all cooked and served by students, which is a cool concept. Service was really attentive, they checked on us just the right amount. Good for a relaxed catch-up.

The afternoon tea was lovely, especially the savory selection. The sandwiches were fresh, and I appreciated the variety of fillings. Could have done with fewer cheese ones, though. The sweet pastries were a bit of a letdown for me—just not as fresh-tasting. The staff were really welcoming and attentive, which made the afternoon pleasant.

Sharon and the team were super friendly, even when it got packed. They remembered my drink order from last time, which was a nice touch. Just felt looked after without it being over the top.

Came in with a friend who has serious allergies. Heidi and chef Becca took it really seriously, checked everything twice. Felt safe, could actually relax for once.

The Full English breakfast is solid. Quality ingredients, thick bacon, good sausages. Hash browns were nicely crispy. A reliable spot for a business breakfast near the station. Service was efficient.

Lovely to find a pub that genuinely welcomes dogs. The little enclosed garden is perfect for them to have a safe run around. Everyone was so friendly.

The inside is actually pretty cosy, much nicer than I expected from the outside. It was a good spot for my friend's birthday dinner. Just a heads up, the main courses are on the pricier side, so maybe skip if you're really watching your budget.

Booked a table for a big group and they had us seated quickly, no fuss. The New York burger was spot on, really juicy. Caramel apple pudding with custard was a nice finish. It's a lively spot but didn't feel too packed.

Stayed in a ground-floor room. It was clean and comfortable, had all the basics. The little outdoor seating area was a nice surprise, actually enjoyed a coffee there in the morning.

Been here a few times now. Good spot if you're out walking the coast paths nearby. Food's decent, nothing fancy but does the job after a long walk. Can get a bit busy on weekends though.

Thursday banquet is a solid deal for the price. The portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth.

The bottomless drinks are a solid deal. The lemonade was sharp and not too sweet, refills came quick. Could see it working for a group.

Nice, traditional pub. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chips. A solid choice for a reliable meal.

Been coming here for years. It’s always packed, but the food never lets you down. Had the fish and chips again last night – crispy batter, proper chips. That’s why I keep coming back.

Lovely quiet spot tucked away from the main street. Just the right place for a relaxing cup of tea. They even brought water for our dogs, which was a really nice touch.

Great homemade pasta, and the portions are huge. Their house red was a solid match for the rich sauces.

Been coming here for years. The vibe is always just right - cozy, comfortable, the decor never feels overdone. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Perfect spot for a seaside bite with mates. We grabbed the fish and chips, sat right on the harbour wall. Just chatting, watching the boats, with that view. The food was decent, nothing fancy, but the setting made it. A bit breezy though!

Sunday lunch was tasty, beef was good and plenty of veggies. Quick service for a busy day.

Walked in without a booking on a Tuesday evening. Staff found us a table promptly. Food arrived quickly - the steak was cooked exactly as requested. Solid, efficient service for a midweek dinner.

The banquet night is such good value. So much food for the set price, and it all felt really fresh. Just a lovely, generous spread.
