Really liked the different rooms and levels, made our catch-up feel more private. Buffet was solid, plenty of tea and coffee to keep us going.

Been coming here for years, and the spice balance is always spot on. Never too heavy, just right. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Food was hot and fresh, which was nice. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. A decent spot for a quick meal.

The pork tomahawk was pretty good. The chop was barbecued nicely, tender and juicy. They did mention a wait, which was fine.

The chips here are honestly some of the best I've ever had. Crispy, fluffy, and perfectly salted. Worth the trip alone.

The lasagne was really good. But the portions are just massive - we couldn't finish the ploughman's and had to get a box. It's a lot of food for the price, for sure.

The afternoon tea was lovely, fresh and tasty. The staff were so pleasant, really made it special.

The owners were so helpful when I couldn't find a parking spot, even moving their own car for me. A really thoughtful gesture that made the evening start off right. The wine list had some interesting local options to pair with the meal.

The portions here are huge! I couldn't finish my seafood pasta, but it was so tasty I had to take the rest home. Way better value than the other spots on the beach strip.

Managed to get a table on a packed Saturday night! The staff were so lovely, even held the door open when we were leaving. Made a hectic evening with friends feel really easy. Food was good, but honestly the service was the highlight.

Lovely spot in the village centre. Had a late lunch here after a long walk. The fish and chips were spot on – crispy batter, proper chips. Service was friendly, if a little slow. Just what we needed.

Had a lovely two-night stay at the Red Lion. Their Sunday roast is a proper draw – the place was packed with locals. The sommelier’s wine pairing suggestion for the beef was spot on, really lifted the whole meal. Would definitely book a table next time.

Solid spot for a casual pint. The Fisherman's platter was generous, perfect for sharing. I was impressed by the rotating craft beers on tap – had a lovely local pale ale that paired surprisingly well with the fried calamari. Prices felt fair for the quality.

Lovely staff and a proper pint of Guinness. The stew was hearty and just right for a rainy day.

The dairy-free and gluten-free dishes were actually tasty, which is a nice surprise. The staff really knew their stuff about allergies.

Been coming here for years and the vegan menu is always a winner. It's a separate menu, so easy to order from. The salt and pepper tofu is my go-to, never lets me down.

Been coming here for years, and the veggie pizza is always spot on. Hot, loaded with toppings, just how I like it.

The fish and chips are pretty good, cooked in beef dripping for a traditional flavour. The batter was a touch heavy for me, but it's a decent meal.

Lovely atmosphere, the vintage decor and music really set a cosy mood. Found the booths a bit snug for a longer meal, but it's a charming spot.

The buffet here is actually pretty decent. I was expecting the usual soggy stuff, but the roast beef was carved fresh and the salad bar looked crisp. Place was spotless too.

Came here for a friend's birthday. The staff were so sweet, they brought out a little dessert with a candle without us even asking. It was a really nice touch and made the evening feel extra fun for our group.

Nice spot for a family dinner. Cozy vibe, not too loud. Had the Sunday roast, decent portion. Bit pricey for what it is though.

Been here a few times now, it's a solid spot. The food is always fresh, which is key. I appreciate that they have a decent, well-priced wine list. A simple Malbec paired nicely with the grilled meats last time. Service is cheerful, no complaints.

Great for groups with different diets! The staff were really chill and made sure everyone was happy.

Tried this place based on a friend's tip. The full English was decent, but honestly, the portion felt a bit small for the price. Coffee was good though. They were nice to our dog, which was a plus.

Had our wedding here. Lidia and the team made everything run smoothly. The food was spot on - the beef was cooked just right, and the desserts were a real highlight. A great day.

The cowboy burger was really good, juicy and cooked just right. The rest of the meal was fine, but that burger is the reason I'll be back.

Popped in just before closing. Their chips are consistently spot on, which is why I keep coming back.

The chips are so good! Not greasy, perfectly crispy. They really make the fish. Great for sharing with friends.
