The chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries were exactly what I was craving. For the price, the portion was huge—I couldn't even finish it. Solid value.

The fish was definitely fresh. I went with the rice bowl and added extra avocado. It's a good spot when you want a quick, decent lunch you can build yourself. Nothing fancy, but it hits the spot.

I'm not vegan but wanted something lighter. Their veggie broth was actually really flavorful, not just bland hot water. The gluten-free noodles had a nice chew to them too. Appreciate the effort they put into these options.

Prices are on the higher side for some dishes, but the portions are solid. The pastries in the case are a particularly good deal for what you get.

Solid pizza for a quick bite. Toppings are generous, crust is crispy. Got it to go and it was ready fast.

The scallops and risotto were so good, perfect for a nice dinner with friends. Staff was really sweet about our little celebration too.

First visit, the space is very modern and sleek. I went with the pasta, which looked fantastic. The texture was a bit firm for me, and it was on the greasy side. Adding the extra cheese and egg made it a touch too salty. Their wine list is solid though, found a nice Chianti that worked well with the rich dish.

Umigawa deserves a higher rating for its fresh and delicious raw fish. The California roll and spicy tuna roll are particularly noteworthy, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity.

The house salad was a good size for the price. Veggie burger patty is made fresh, which I appreciate. Soup of the day is a solid vegetarian choice.

Service was spot on. They remembered our anniversary and the welcome felt personal. The wine pairing suggestion was a thoughtful touch, really complemented the starters. Made for a relaxed, enjoyable evening.

Service was attentive, and the wine pairing suggestions really complemented the dishes. A relaxed spot for a good meal.

Complex, authentic spices in every dish. Had the lamb tagine and the falafel platter, both were spot on. One of the better Mediterranean spots I've found around Seattle. Everything tasted carefully prepared, not rushed.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always solid. What keeps me coming back is their wine list – they have a few interesting local bottles that pair really well with the classics.

The carne asada burrito is my go-to here. It's consistently pretty good, and the portion size is decent for the price. The steak in the Acapulco burrito is also solid. A reliable spot for a quick, filling meal.

Their calzone is up there with the best I've had. The sauce really stood out, and it was stuffed with plenty of cheese and meat. A solid choice for a casual lunch.

The chicken cones were really good, crispy and flavorful. Decent value for the quality. Service was fine, though it did take a little while to get our order.

Everything's made here, even the granola and cookies. You can taste the care in the ice cream. Just a solid, simple spot.

Tom yum soup was the star here. Got it with noodles and without, both were solid. Pineapple fried rice and chicken fried rice were good too. Quick lunch spot, will be back.

The curry fried rice was a nice mild option. But the cumin lamb? So good. Tender, with that perfect smoky cumin flavor. We ordered three dishes and it was definitely the standout.

Food was solid, good portions for the price. Place is clean, not too loud. Tables are spaced out nicely. Got my lunch in under 10 minutes, which is key for me. 👍

The lemon coconut coffee cake was delicious, and their wine list had a great pairing suggestion.

The salt and pepper chicken was really good. Super crispy, and the seasoning was spot on. Best I've had in DC for sure. Just walked in on a whim, glad I did.

The pho broth is the star here, really deep and aromatic. I usually get the tofu fried rice, it's got a nice spicy kick. The spring rolls are solid too. Just wish the broth stayed hotter a bit longer in the bowl.

Sticky pan dumplings were so good, crispy on the bottom. The steamed ones were nice too. But the real star was the beef roll in bread - fantastic flavor and texture. Onion pancakes and cucumber salad rounded it out well. Solid meal.

Been coming here for years. The peanut butter banana toast is my go-to - they never skimp on the peanut butter, and the bread is always perfectly toasted. It's just consistently good, exactly what I'm looking for.

Been coming here for years. The coffee is always exactly the same—rich, never bitter. That’s the main thing for me. Took me a minute to find the door the first time, it’s by the parking lot, not the big sign. But once you know, you know.
