The front garden is a total sun trap. Grabbed a pint out there on a sunny afternoon and it was just the spot. Could've sat for hours. Nice little escape.

Such a welcoming, no-frills pub. It's always buzzing with a mix of students and locals, which gives it a great vibe for catching up with friends. The bar staff are young and super friendly, which really makes a difference. A proper spot for a relaxed evening.

Tried their roast. It’s the best thing on the menu, honestly. Juicy, crispy skin, proper gravy. The rest was fine, but I’d go back just for that.

The mixed grill is huge, easily for two or three. The adana kebab was the standout for me – so flavourful and juicy. The rest was good too, but that one really hit the spot.

The BBQ pork taquitos here are the reason I keep coming back. They're always perfectly crisp, and the pork filling is just the right balance of smoky and tender. Honestly, it's the one thing I order every single time.

The staff here are so lovely, especially with kids. Ruby and Daisy were really sweet with my little one, making her smile. Laura and Leah were also friendly and helpful. It's nice to see a team that genuinely seems to enjoy their work and connects with guests. Makes for a relaxed meal.

Perfect for a quick bite before work. Got the breakfast plate, added black pudding. Food's fresh, good portion for the price. Free coffee with Ikea Family before 9am is a nice perk. Gets the job done.

A really nice spot to work from for a few hours. The staff are super friendly and never made me feel rushed, even when I was just nursing a coffee. Good vibes for getting some writing done.

Popped in for a late lunch. The Juicy Lucy burger was solid – cheese actually oozes out when you bite into it. Staff were quick and chill. Place has a nice, warm vibe.

Came early to grab a table with a plug and get some work done. Ordered three dishes for a quick lunch. Everything came out fast and tasted good. Perfect for a focused solo bite.

Been coming here for years, and it's always solid. The owner remembered I like watching the matches and got me sorted with a decent table again. Food's still good for the price.

The house-brewed pale ale here is the standout. It’s got a really crisp, hoppy bite that cuts through, not too heavy. Perfect with the salted nuts they put out. The stout was a bit too sweet for my taste, though.

Charlie and Lyla were great hosts. The music was spot-on, really added to the vibe. I had a great time with their house red, it was a surprisingly good match for the small plates we ordered. A fun night out.

The milkshakes are the star here. A proper, thick shake that really hit the spot with the burger. Fun spot.

The service was so friendly and quick, it really put me at ease. The whole place just had a good, relaxed vibe that made the evening really pleasant.

The whitebait was spot on, crispy and light. Calamari had a good bite, not rubbery. Prawns were sweet and juicy. The steak was cooked exactly as asked. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. That's pretty much all I look for in a meal.

First time trying their strawberry maple waffle with Nutella and gelato. The waffle was so fluffy and warm, a great contrast to the cold gelato. The strawberries were fresh, not too sweet. Really enjoyed it!

The schnitzel and goulash are so good for the price! Perfect spot for a casual catch-up with mates.

The French onion soup was the star. So rich and comforting, with that deep, savoury flavour. Just the right amount of cheese on top. It was exactly what I needed.

Been coming here for years. The steaks are always cooked right, tender and well-seasoned. It's a reliable spot for a good meal, nothing fancy. Staff are friendly and seem to enjoy the job, which is nice to see.

Super clean spot, staff were really nice. Had to wait about half an hour for the pancakes though, which was a bit of a drag. They were good when they came.

Been coming for years, and their milkshakes are still the best.

Decent lamb chops and dosas, service was fine. Could be a bit cosier.

The flat white's really good. Love how the space feels so relaxed.

Been coming here for years after my morning walk. The staff always remember my usual order and have a good laugh with me. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Keep coming back for the pies, they've got real character. The space itself is clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe that just works. It's the kind of place you can settle into.

Lovely spot to bring the pup! They had water bowls ready outside which was a nice touch. Spent a sunny afternoon in the beer garden, the parasols were a lifesaver. Just a heads up, it got pretty busy later on.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our diamond, 60 years, wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. They sat us by the window and even made our serviettes into roses. We were treated really well and special.

Helpful staff and the free parking out back is a real plus for a quick lunch. Steak burger was solid.

First time in Southampton, tried this steakhouse. The steak itself was really good quality. I appreciated that the booths were quite spacious and comfortable, made it easy to just relax and enjoy the meal. Service was friendly without being overbearing.
