Solid fish and chips for a decent price. The service was quick, which was perfect as we were catching up with friends and didn't want a long wait. The car park is a huge plus for meeting up.

Great spot for a relaxed evening. The staff were happy to chat about the wine list, which had some interesting local options.

First time in, Summer was our server. She’s quick, polite, and checked on us just the right amount. The sesame chicken fries were spot on, really crispy. Slaw was good too. Solid spot.

A solid roast dinner at the local wine bar. The staff are lovely, which makes it a nice regular spot.

From Birmingham, so I know my curries. The chicken here was really fresh and tender, portions are generous. Everything was cooked just right.

Popped in early for a bite. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chips. Love the old pub vibe in here, you can feel the history. No booking needed which was handy.

Zoe and Mariia were brilliant. Really professional, remembered our drinks order, and just made the whole evening run smoothly. A nice touch.

Maciej and Daniel were really helpful. The jugs here were noticeably fresher than at other places we tried. You could tell the ingredients were good quality.

The saffron ice cream was the perfect end to a rich dinner. Such a unique, subtle flavour. The fresh tea alongside it was lovely, though I wish the ice cream portion was a touch bigger.

Been coming here for years for breakfast. Their full English is always spot on - the bacon's crispy, the eggs are runny, and the black pudding is just right. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Stopped in on a quiet Monday. The home-cooked food was really good, portions were huge. Friendly landlord too. Just what you need on a slow night.

Been coming here for years. The beer selection on tap is always spot on, and that's what keeps me coming back.

Been coming for years. The food's still spot on, but I've always noticed the portions are a bit small for what you pay.

Busy Friday night and the staff still kept things moving smoothly. Good service when it's packed.

Popped in for a coffee and that lemon & white chocolate muffin. It was just the right kind of sweet and crumbly. The whole place felt really calm, like you could just sit and chat for hours. The staff were lovely too.

Great late-night spot. The bar staff really know their stuff, and the cocktails are spot on. Good vibe with the music.

Nice place to drop by for a casual lunch. Staff were really friendly and didn’t rush us at all. Had the grilled chicken salad—fresh and decent portion. Felt relaxed just hanging out for a bit.

Busy Friday night. Got seated fast, food came quick. Staff were friendly, not rushed. Good vibe.

The crab soup was so fragrant and comforting. The egg fried noodles had a lovely wok hei. Honestly, just a really nice, simple meal. Prices were a pleasant surprise too.

The fish was the standout. Light, flaky, not greasy at all. The batter was crisp without being heavy. Fries were decent, crispy on the outside. That's pretty much what I came for.

First time trying fish and chips. The fish was really fresh, no 'fishy' taste. Even my wife, who normally avoids fish, enjoyed it.

The charity angle is nice. Food's decent, prices are fair. But the main thing for me was the space – it's got this really calm, open feel, not cramped at all. Makes a difference just sitting there.

The lunch curry and rice deal is a solid £10, and we added some tapas. Ended up with loads of food, had to take some home. Everything felt fresh and came out quickly. The space itself is really bright and airy, which I liked.

Diana was super friendly and let me try a few ice cream samples before I ordered. The cappuccino came out hot and fast, just what I needed for a quick pick-me-up. Perfect for a speedy lunch break.

Came here for a date night. The food arrived super quick, which was nice. My main takeaway is the portion sizes – you get a lot for what you pay. The truffle pasta was rich and creamy, just how I like it.

The Szechuan spice here is the real deal—properly bold and warming. I was really impressed by how balanced the flavours were, nothing felt one-note. A solid spot for that authentic kick.
