The chicken and bacon pie was the reason for the trip. Flaky pastry, generous filling. It's a bit of a drive from the city, but the quality is consistent. Service was efficient.

Got the burger on a local's recommendation. The patty was juicy and cooked just right, with really fresh local ingredients. It's up there with the best I've had in town.

Been coming here for years. The industrial look with all the plants is what keeps me coming back. It's just a really cozy spot to unwind. Feels the same every time, which I appreciate.

Been coming here for 25 years. The consistency is impressive. Food quality and service are exactly as I remember from my first visit. A reliable choice for that reason.

Gets packed on weekends, but they handle it well. Kitchen's quick, and our server Alex was on it even with the rush. Food came out fast, no complaints there.

Good spot with sea views. Breakfast was decent and reasonably priced. The roof terrace is a bonus on a sunny day.

Love the family-run feel here. The chef came out to say hello to our table, which was such a nice touch. Made our girls' night feel extra cosy. The pasta was good, but that personal vibe is what I'll remember.

Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Just the right balance for a relaxed meal.

Sunday karaoke was a blast! The food's decent, but service can be a bit slow when they're short-staffed.

Booked the private area for a party. Lizzy and the team sorted everything out smoothly. The food from the chefs was good, and honestly, the cost for the whole setup felt very reasonable for what we got.

Ordered through Uber Eats and they were really nice about swapping my fried eggs for scrambled. The extra black pudding was the best bit. The whole thing just felt like a proper, comforting breakfast.

The pizza had a good crust, crispy but not tough. The tomato sauce was a bit sweet, which worked well with the salty pepperoni. Could have used a touch more basil, but the flavour was solid.

The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, and the tea was spot on. A solid choice for a full breakfast any time of day.

The grilled fish skewer was so tender and packed with flavour. My friend and I were just catching up over a few small plates, and this was the one we kept ordering more of. A bit pricey for the portion, but it made the whole evening.

Loved the glass atrium for lunch. The natural light really makes the greens on the plate look so fresh and vibrant. A very pleasant spot to enjoy a simple, wholesome meal.

The building's got real character, those low doorways are a fun touch. But honestly, for the price point, the portions felt a bit on the smaller side. You're paying more for the atmosphere than a really filling meal.

Busy Saturday night, but the staff kept things moving smoothly. My grilled salmon was cooked just right, still moist inside. The side salad had really fresh greens, crisp and vibrant. Appreciated that even with the rush, the kitchen didn't compromise on the ingredients.

Caught a film screening here with their cheese board and a glass of red. The concept works well for a relaxed evening out. The setting is pleasant, though the board itself was a bit basic for the price. Good for something different.

Great spot for a quick bite. Cake selection is top-notch, coffee always hits the spot. Staff are quick and friendly, which is a plus when you're on a tight lunch break.

Nice spot. Winchester sausage roll was tasty. Plenty of seating inside and out. Convenient near the Cathedral gift shop.

Been coming here for years, and the beer garden is always a winner. Plenty of space, and they've got those shaded tables sorted for when the sun's out. It's a proper spot to settle in. The cider on tap is a bit limited, but that's my only gripe.

Nice little spot for a quick bite. Coffee's solid, local beans. Staff are friendly but service can be a bit slow when they're busy. Good for a fast lunch break.

A really nice spot for a relaxed dinner. The staff were so friendly and thoughtful, even bringing out a little cake for us. It made the evening feel very easy and pleasant.

Been coming here for years for fish and chips. The seating area is always clean and tidy, which is nice.

Bright and spacious pub. Good spot for people-watching with that view of the pedestrian area. Drinks are reasonably priced. Just a relaxed vibe.

Kitchen was spotless, which is always a good sign. The whole place just felt really clean and tidy.

Came for the steak. Cooked exactly as asked, nice char on the outside, perfectly pink inside. The peppercorn sauce was the standout though, really rich and flavourful. That sauce made the dish. Could have done with a few more chips on the side, to be honest.
