Service was friendly enough, even though the place was packed on a Wednesday. Food came out fast, which I appreciated. Prices are fair for what you get. The seating area felt a bit cramped though, not the most comfortable for lingering. Solid spot if you just want a quick, no-fuss meal and don't mind the tight squeeze.

The outdoor seating is the main reason I keep coming back. Food’s solid and portions are generous. Inside’s a bit tired, but that doesn’t bother me much.

The espresso blend here is solid — you can tell they roast the beans themselves. I grabbed a bag to take home and the price felt fair for the quality. Space is small and retro, kinda cozy. Service was friendly enough. Just wish the cups were a bit bigger for what you pay.

Great spot right in the middle of the club area, the view is really nice. We had dinner here and it was solid, though the place gets busy later in the evening.

New spot is bigger and brighter. Got the schnitzel, still solid. Service was quick even with the lunch rush. No complaints.

Went twice during my Heidelberg stay. Potato soup and sausage salad were solid, but that homemade salad dressing is what I keep thinking about. Second time I had the Hirschgulasch with spätzle—also really good. The room felt warm and cozy, plants on the tables made it nice to sit in.

The pork schnitzel was actually decent. Crispy outside, juicy inside, seasoned well. For a cafe right on the main square, I didn't expect that quality. Cash only though, which caught me off guard. Had to run to the ATM around the corner. The meat itself made it worth the hassle.

Loved the old-school vibe, felt like a proper local spot. Just remember it's cash only, which caught me off guard. Service was on point though.

The burgers are huge, seriously. I got one and could barely finish it, but it was really good. Staff was friendly, no complaints there. Just wish the drinks weren't so expensive, that kinda caught me off guard. Fine for a casual bite if you're not thirsty.

Great spot to hang out with friends! We grabbed a few dishes and shared everything - the terrace made it feel super relaxed. Service was on point too. 😊

Stopped by for a late lunch. The apple strudel was the best part, honestly. Meat was tender too, cooked properly. Staff were friendly enough. Place is surrounded by greenery, which is nice if you can get a seat outside. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, but I wasn't in a rush anyway.

Spaghetti ice cream was fun, classic spot. Portion's huge though, barely finished mine. Paper cups felt a bit cheap.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the schnitzel, came out fast and hot. Portion was decent for the price. Place was a bit busy but that's fine. Solid spot if you're in a hurry and want something filling. Nothing fancy, just good food.

Great spot for a quick lunch with friends. The vegan options were really tasty and the vibe is super relaxed. Service was on point too.

The éclairs are seriously good—flaky, creamy, just right. You can tell the owner actually cares about baking.

We showed up with a big group without a reservation and they handled it fine. Outdoor seating is really nice, food was solid. Just a bit slow getting everything out.

I highly recommend making a reservation before visiting, as this place tends to get busy. The food is excellent, particularly the bruschetta and pizzas, which are among the best I've ever had.

Still one of the few spots in Karlsruhe where you can smoke inside. Good for hanging out with friends, sports on the screens too. Just a heads-up if you're not into the smoke 😅

The currywurst here is solid. Sauce has a good kick, not too sweet. Fries were decent but could've been crispier. Fine for a quick bite.

Nice terrace with a clear view of Hambach Castle. Palatinate wines were solid, nothing fancy but decent. Good spot if you're already in the area and want a relaxed afternoon.
